I was making it bigger until they didn't like all the praise I was giving the throne piece and liking the tikies or some what. Then I told a ghost story and ppl really got angry. I asked one question about Katrina Bell and I get booted from Wehdonhouse. :monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

this ____ing rules tho!!! :rock Kill all those tree climbing vampires!

I talked to a SS rep today and he tells me they already have 20+ units of 1:2 IM in stock sitting in the wearhouse. I put mine in flex because I ordered the 1:2 T-800 at the same time. But if you ordered one...odds are it will ship out in a couple days.

Thanks for the write up. AS for donating the broken piece to an orphanage since it is fixable would be something you and sideshow could arrange. Kid's love these statue's even more than we grown ups do. What better place than somewhere where thousands of kids will get to see this displayed than an orphanage. What a waste if you have to destroy it. Talk to sideshow, I'm pretty sure they would let you give it away after a "Liquid Cement" session to an orphanage. Take some pictures of it there and you have instant publicity that would enhance Sideshow's status for allowing it. Make something good come out of a broken piece.

Thanks Supes, I will suggest that.

Did you guys read this from ‘Ask Sideshow’ Answers - MARVEL - 01/25/10??

Looking forward to the 1/2 scale Iron Man Mark 3 maquette, but reading on a few forums, the Iron Man bust had paint problems [bubbles in paint work], so I’m a bit worried about buying this product. Have the paint problems been resolved, or was it just a bad batch?

The 1:2 Scale Iron Man Mk 3 was produced at a different factory from the Iron Man Bust, and our production team has reviewed each and every piece first-hand prior to granting approval for shipment of the final product. We’ve received the first production pieces at the Sideshow offices, and they are fantastic! We believe that customers who have the 1:2 scale Iron Man pre-ordered will start to receive their orders in February, and then you’ll have first hand testimony about the paint quality.

Ok to be the first to get one (After Batman29), and after reading this I can confidently assure the rest of you guys that this piece is going to be one of the best to come out of Sideshow in a long time!
A different factory and review of each and every one should put a smile on every new owner of this piece!

Go get yours!
