Yeah, they really dropped the ball on that Destroyer Maquette. If the light up feature would illuminate the chest like it does on that picture that statue would have been a must have.

I showed it doing that in my latest video in my thread. I was gutted the chest didn't light up but man it's still fantastic in person.

*****! Just noticed the lighted chest piece in the Legacy pics! Man, i thought thats how it came when it was released...it does make a difference as it looks even more like the movie

Yeah I think it would be amazing if it had that feature without it it's just great looks really imposing and is a heavy statue. I also like the little details like the dust on the feet

This went to waitlist on the site. I wonder if it's actually going to sell out or if they're just sold out of their current stock and plan on making more after. I hope it's not actually sold out, I really wanted to get it sometime in the near future.

I think SSC mentioned a while back that this would be the end of the road for the MKIII LSF as they have plans for the upcoming new Iron Man LSF's. Just like they have done with the Wolf Predator LSF recently which is not on waitlist, SSC stated that it is highly unlikely that a new production run will be put into action so i'm guessing that this would be the same for he IM MKIII LSF. It is a shame as those who dont already have this will now probably have to buy from the secondary market and with the news that these will no longer be made that will only boost the value on the secondary market. I am so grateful i purchased mine when i did as it is my number 1 piece in my collection and would never, ever part with it. Still, im more that 100% positive that SSC will be announcing the new IM LSF to be released, i think it will be after the new movie Iron Man III has been released...

Hey Hed, welcome aboard. I purchased mine from the UK (but through a fellow freak for a great price). Do you know any retailers in the UK who are currently stocking the MKIII 1:2 figure?

Something similiar happened with the Iron Man MKIII 1:1 Battle Damaged Bust. I know a few people had jumped onto the 'then available' waiting list but where then told much later that that the bust would be discontinued so the same thing could happen with the IM LSF. Obviously in your case i hope it doesnt and your waitlist converts
