I want OT SW style - no need to introduce new antagonists, we already have an amazing bunch as is. Just let the world play out now with these insane characters instead of cluttering it up for the sake of a new "baddy."

All the prosthetics on his face... and Colin still pulled off a stellar performance. Completely lost himself in the role. Made this his own.

I think it's worthy of an emmy nomination (at least).

Can't say I ever cared or saw potential in the comic book villain, and The Batman didn't sway me either. But I'm invested in the character now. That's probably Matt's greatest accomplishment yet as far as I'm concerned.

I'm excited to see where this goes.

Hoping Colin doesn't give this up, as it seems he's hinted he might be finished with the role.

But this is his now.
He needs to own it.

Thing I like most about the ending, is that regardless of how much you rooted for Oz through out the entire show, it reminds you of how much of a sick bastard this guy really is.

See.. they did the same thing with The Riddler in The Batman. But it felt so out of character and tacked on... I really didn't like that.

Worked better this time around.

Yeah, Colin really cemented a new version of Penguin somewhat in the way Heath did with Joker -- just a total reinvention, name and all. It's hard to 'believe' in cartoony DeVito... but Colin's Penguin is so rich and real... and frightening.

- I never liked Torturro's casting. I don't even like him as an actor. I hate recasts, because they ruin continuity.

Mark Strong's Falcone is so much better. I just wish they'd made that casting from the get go.

- I also have a question. How the **** did Maroni escape a maximum security prison? On an island? With a severe wound on top of that?

That was really silly.

This show had its fair share of "oh come on" moments -- and the final episode had probably the biggest one -- but its just so damn good in so many ways, mostly due to Milioti.

This is an actual monster for Batman to fight. It sets up the unreal stakes while being completely grounded.
