OOOOO they implemented the glove from Arkham Universe. Hated the nolan interpretation. Just some guy in a mask and a suit and we barely ever saw him live up to his villianous role.

They could have been relics from another patient Rush kept. The whole Bliss drug angle of the show did make me think it would lead to Scarecrow. Still could I suppose. Wish they had just committed to Scarecrow rather than maybe Rush being Scarecrow or Hugo Strange or Calendar Man or whoever they intended for him to be. Not being someone would feel a waste when there are so many DC characters they could utilize.

They went out with a bang all right, and IMO dethroned Netflix DD as the best comic book series ever.

I loved this show, but I'm not sure I would even categorize it as a comic book series. It's seems almost too grounded to qualify, plus maybe I'm forgetting something but I can't think of a single fantastical element typical of a comic book movie or series that took place.

That's why it was so good.

They literally made a great gangster show using Batman IP labels to get it made. :lol

It's the future. That, and Jake Paul fights.

I’d like to see a Scarecrow besides him,
in The Batman II, that guy is much too annoying to me. I don’t like the thought of them leading with this Joker either. Penguin, Scarecrow and a little hint of Joker would do it imo. Is Colin Farrell done with it after this sequel?

I've tried explaining that to my CBM-hating but Godfather-loving co-workers, but they still won't give it a shot. Sharing its continuity with (the equally grounded) TB is a dealbreaker.

Someone tell me Oz would have whacked Vic regardless of whether he uttered the F-word... please?

Well, if not then, it probably would have happened later.

No, he signed on for all three of the Batman trilogy and is open to the idea of another season of Penguin. Though, understandably, he wants a bit of a break from the long hours in the make up chair so he’s not necessarily wanting to jump right into another season right away. He’s in 4-6 scenes in The Batman 2 he thinks.
