who cares whether Chris Howes technically has a vote because ballots went out...but giving him a plug and bio (unless it lists him as a scumbag) on your site probably isn't the best idea for your own rep.

you can see how much so many hate him. i wouldn't want to be tied to him in anyway. add him to the anonymous list if his vote must count.

Hmm..kinda surprising. I would think that Overlord Michael would have....well over 357 friends. This must be an omen.

Voted. Feel lame for going with mainly HT but they are the masters of what they do and they make what I want.

I leave the voting up for two weeks, announce everything before the end of the month. Hopefully anyway - tallying everything up is a fair amount of work, even with modern math.

I thought about The Screaming - but I don't know that I'd want bootleg figures in there. And as good as it is, it doesn't really hold a candle to most of the HT releases on an execution level. It may be a more preferred character, but I don't know that would qualify it.
I can understand the unlicensed nature of the figure keeping it out, but I think the head sculpt makes it comparable to anything else out there. Of course, the paint apps aren't great, the body is kind of weak (despite many people using it for their Snake Eyes), and the quality of the clothes isn't what Hot Toys would put out, but definitely one of my three favorite figures from last year.

G I Joe line of the year!!!

And no 'The Screaming' figure is a weak.

Agree.

I don't know jack about the low end market.

I selected.

Sideshow GI Joe as the high end line

MOTU as the best low end

Sideshow Darth Vader as best figure

HT Tumbler as the best accessory/playset

Best low end is definitely MOTU by Mattel. This one is gonna win hands down.

i know its not "high end" but I have a hard time calling $20 6" figures "low end".

I consider "low end" stuff you can get for $6 or less at WalMart.

Oh el-cheapo! I don't know of ONE single figure that costs 6 dollars at WalMart. Not one. And no clearance figures. When stuff is costing $60 and up $20 is low end. MOTU will win, this I command!

hey Mike, You should have put the Venom Comiquette in the statue of the year award. Its the most universally appreciated Marvel piece produce this year.

The T-800/Mystique PFs included in the voting over Blackbeard?! :monkey1 That is simply a case of a more popular property. :sick

I was hoping Blackbeard and the Dinosauria statues would be included. I was looking forward to voting for Blackbeard, but Hellboy PF got my vote instead.

There is one line less than $6 at Wal-mart - G.I. Joe RoC. Aren't they all $5 a figure there? Talk about running away with a category!
