The Enterbay bodies are fine... Bruce is obviously more fore aesthetics, but still poses well and looks natural.

Hopefully these new Pro additions help with some of their difficulties... although its unfortunate that the few figures released thus far are shorter than they should be.

I love the additions, though with the bulky body, I don't think there is much in the way of defininition on the arms, which means it won't be all that great to look at for say a Roadblock figure.

Are these grey parts the parts they were referring to when they said they were working on a specific GI Joe figure? For some reason I was hoping it was something not so much regarding size, but specific sculpting for a chest or arms.

I think these are just modular pieces for the Pro that can be used as needed for lots of figures. But I think there is still the option for specific parts for certain characters.

Enterbay's bodies look like they have ^^^^ for articulation in the shoulders.

My main issue with the Enterbay RM is that it has "ratcheted" articulation on the legs. I found it to be a huge pain when trying to find the "sweet spot" for a pose. It always seemed to click right past what I wanted and the body is heavier than most so balance became a huge problem.
I actually sold my Jack Bauer despite the stellar headsculpt/paints due to the poor articulation. It's okay for moderate posing, I guess, but more aggravating than fun IMO. My own pet peeves weigh into that, though. I can see how some people might like it. :dunno

What's this thread about again?...

I think the 1.2 should become the standard as it looks to be more of a 12" tall body and has the extra bulk in the shoulders. And if extra height was needed I imagine they could retool some shins to gain an extra bit.

The original would make a great short male body as it seems about the same height as the previous Lukes.

Nice to see Sideshow is making an attempt to make the already crappy Prometheus even better. The 1.2 might be decent.

looking good... and I'm liking the changes to the body. definitely going to need to get extras... and i to think sideshow should offer a trade-in program, but I doubt they will...

Interesting. I don't really see much additional bulk in those 1.2 arms, just wider set shoulders, and I can only hope that the heads designed for the 1.2 neck have a very deep-set ball socket, because that neck is seriously way too long. And they're still using those crappy half-ball ankle sockets that are a pain to pose. Those really need to change to the HT style.

Yeah, I'm just still not sold on the pro as a body.

Wow. I'm sure I'm not the only person to relate the issues of the Pro., but every issue I mentioned in my polite letter to Sideshow after I received Indy was fixed! :banana

"The shoulders are slightly too narrow."
FIXED
"Arms can't lay completely parallel to the torso"
FIXED
"torso is just too short in proportion to the body"
FIXED
"The Torso articulation at the stomach area where a spring pulling the upper and lower halves together like a rubber band is too strong and forces the torso to constantly bend forward all the time."
FIXED
"The buttocks are too small and don't fill out pants the way they should on the average person."
FIXED!
I'm glad Sideshow is listening to the collective voice of the collectors. The V 1.2 is a major improvement and addresses most of the Prometheus' faults. Hopefully this version will be used on most of their future releases. :D

Hopefully SS goes with the mid-range body for most of the taller characters and reserves the current Pro for the average and smaller physique ones. I'm going to have to upgrade some of my figures on the new Pro.

I would love to see Sideshow offer the new body to everyone that purchased an Indy, at a promotional price. Maybe $10

Hmmm...im wondering if i should wait and replace my Snake Eyes body with the 1.2. I was gonna use a True-Type initially but I really want to avoid cutting down the wrist pegs. Either way this is great news.
