I guess all these gifs are irrelevant now since Microsoft announced they've reversed the decision for the Xbox One to "always be online", how they wanted their system to handle used games and the region restrictions. :lol

The Nintendo Wii was cheaper and LESS powerful than the PS3 and Xbox360 and still outsold both combined. :lol

In other words, it doesn't matter. All consoles have price drops eventually and system specs are meaningless, it all depends on the game makers and how they use the hardware to configure their games.

That might have worked in the current (soon-to-be-previous) generation of gaming. But, consider the fact that Nintendo was practically forgotten at this year's E3, and most of the press coverage was primarily focused on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Performance and specifications will matter now, more than ever, because the consoles are essentially playing a catch-up game with PCs - which are considerably more powerful in graphics capabilities. That was never a factor to consider seven years ago in the current generation.

It won't last, it will be implemented eventually. Doesn't negate the fact that PS4 is cheaper and more powerful.

Not really cheaper. You are paying more because you are getting more.

It's like options on a car can make it more or less expensive than another car. The PS doesn't come with their eye thingy while the Xbox has the Kinect.

As for power, doesn't matter. The PS3 is more powerful than the 360 yet games on both system are about the same.

As always, it comes down to what team you are cheerleading for.

PS3 had it's ***** cut off since games were ported to it and not developed on it.

I bet if given the option most would buy a Kinectless version of the Xbone.

Sony sees that people might not want it so they sold it seperately.

Hopefully the PS4 is easier to develop for so companies won't have to port games over. But in all honesty the only games to get the best out of each system are the exclusives as they are designed for each respective console.

Mass games have to be built to work on both thus will have to cut corners to work on both
