The Punisher Comiquette

PS - this is a statue that deserves a mirrored background because the detail from the back is even more impressive than the front.

OK got mine today. 264 of 400. Of course i dont have a working digital camera so I can only describe scale and comparisons.

The Statue itself is incredible(I truly think this will be one of the future grails) This is my first comiquette and the detail to the sculpt is incredible. The print is very underwhelming but Sideshow included a sweet looking 2010 calendar.

Back to the sculpt. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE DETAIL AND PRESENCE. But yes this is not quite 1/4th scale. The statue from bottom of base to top of head is just slightly under 18 inches. The Punisher statue without base is exactly 16.5 inches which would make him 5'6". I placed it next to my Cap PF and it does look small in comparison. It is 2 inches shorter than cap from base to head. From base to top of gun it is in perfect height alignment with the top of Cap's helmet's wings.

I assume this would look great with other comiquettes.

All in all 8.5 out of 10. The 1.5 point deduction due to the size. The sculpt itself is flawless IMHO. If it was a true 1/4 statue it would have been one of the most dynamic out there.

Thats why i always get the Reg when the Excl. is a Print!!

Sorry to inform you but the classic PF is 18" which would make these the same height so if you picked the PF over this comiquette because it would be taller... you got owned double time (1. the PF is fugly 2. they're the same height so that's not a valid reason to pass on the comiquette).

Shutup. The PF is not ugly and I just so happen to know that many people prefer the PF to the comiquette to this, as do I. But I am still getting it because I am a Punisher fan and see the enjoyment of owning both. But people are allowed their own opinions. Double owned? What are you? Some uneducated pimply faced teenager?

I also would love to see him standing next to captain america if the difference is too much i have been debating about using a small riser possibly to make up the height difference.

Nah, that was more like dio to me, it didn't suit me that well.

I like more stand alone with SW for some reason.

Yeah, that's true. I think it does look more like a dio tho as I see where ski is coming from. I think it looks awesome nevertheless!
