interesting episode Tonight.A little back story on Palmer which was ok.His shotgun meeting with Eichorst looked good but was a dud.You would think after all this time he already knows what is needed to do the guy in,but evidently not.Whats with the Nuke?Dutch and Eph got the mind thingy working and it's cool.Too bad about Angel and the Mayor.Fet,a little too late to the party, looks like Dutch has moved on.Eph got in some good shots on our boy.Quinn's back.Season finally next week.

yeah' that was cool.. with the Flames engulfing him holding up the Cross and Gus is looking back you see the sillouette of the Silver Angel.

I can't drink anymore haterade for Zack, as it's already pouring out my nose. Great season finale, but man I was yelling at the screen, put some freak'n heavy duty chains and locks on the flimsy case/coffin.:slap

I love this series but I really think the writers took us for idiots in this episodes ending.A Nuke?Come on we are not that stupid. That was no Nuke.Unless it was the weakest Nuke ever.
The SOL was ground zero and everyone in the 5 Burroughs would have FRIED.But instead a little light with a moderate wind.Hell the team was as close as you could get and hid behind a 2 foot thick stone barrier and was fine.It perfectly unlatched the Masters Box so he could escape and it was sitting right out in plain site.It broke windows and flipped cars throughout Manhattan, come on ..what a JOKE.
Everyone stood there after the explosion looking at it like WOW'.Until Fet said lets get underground before we get eradiated. So now the safest place is where the Stragoi hide out. They were coming out of the woodwork at the end because the Sun was Blotted out from the Sky by the Bomb.
I can't accept this and because of that I can't talk about how good the Finale was.It was excellent until the ending.Zack,I wanted to strangle him a long tome ago.

I don't think they ever said how big the nuke was. It couldn't have been too big because it wouldn't have served it's purpose then.

Yeah, the kid needs to die. But....there's plans for him.

It was a nuke, but a dirty bomb that fit in a suitcase. Not big enough to destroy NY and also not big enough to blot out the sun for more than a day or two. Still enjoy this show for what it is and hate Zach for who he is. I don't see how he can be redeemed at this point. This is so different from the books that I don't have any idea what will happen next season.

I agree with you guys about the portrayal of the suitcase nuke. Once again, Hollywood botches just what a nuclear weapon can do, even a small one to fit the story and keep the good guys alive and not burned to a crisp or irradiated (see The Dark Knight Rises or Godzilla 2014 for more of this stupidity). Honestly,
I hope that nuke going off is the catalyst for a full on nuclear holocaust just like how the second novel ends and the third novel begins--hell NORAD can interpret that as a Russian first strike on ground zero for the Strigoi infection and launch nuclear missiles galore--
(those who've read the trilogy know what I'm talking about). Cause, if its not, that would be lame. Still, all in all The Strain remains the greatest best B-movie trash on television right now and this season was amaze-o-balls fantastic!

:dunno

Zack has become an official serial killer. The character is old enough to know right from wrong. When Zack gave the daggers of death to his father I knew something bad was going to happen...:horror

Damn kid. They had the master and he ruined everything. Mr. Green blame the writer. Now they're doomed to write this for 30 seasons. :wink1:

I won't be happy with this season unless that little ****er zack get his head twisted off like a aspirin cap or shot or blown up or set on fire or run over or tossed off a building......or has a fatal asthma attack.
