Ok, I found where Andy published his Thing vs Namor statue. I have to admit at first glance, Thing's pose reminded me of this PF. What're the chances that Andy sculpted this Thing PF? The likeness might be there.

I'm going to hold off ordering him until Play.com have him. They had the Green Hulk for about £149 (inc. delivery), which is cheaper than buying directly from Sideshow.

Does anyone know who sculpted this? Was it done so it could face-off with Hulk?

It was done by a sculptor other than Andy, and it was made to face-off with the Hulk PF.

I'm like yourself, I got my hulk through play.com for £149 but if the exclusive for thing is too cool then I'll buy direct

The person who sculpted this isn't Andy but they have done work for SSC before. I don't know why its such a secret nowadays.
