Loved all of Conan's bits (especially that ridiculous sandworm and him crawling out of Demi Moore) but show was a pretty huge snooze otherwise.

I'm definitely curious to check out that Anora movie now though.

I thought the James Bond tribute was a missed opportunity.

The clips scene was fine as well as the songs although I would have preferred that the James Bond songs be performed by the original artists. Paul McCartney singing Live and Let Die and Adele singing Skyfall would have been amazing.

What I really would have liked to see that didn’t happen is the surviving James Bond actors together on the stage.
Even if George Lazenby refused due to his retirement last year, there are still 3 others that they could have gotten together. Heck, even 2 of them together like the 1989 Oscars would have been great.

Raye was fantastic as always... but Doja Cat didn't have the range.

Very weak tribute, but I wasn't sure what exactly they were "celebrating"... Amazon getting the rights?

Yeah, just a big plug by Amazon that they got the rights.

I'm thrilled that "No Other Land" has been honored with the award. This recognition has the potential to amplify awareness and inspire a stronger movement toward peace and freedom.

Bond tribute sucked. Barbara Broccoli probably felt like **** in the audience.

Conan was amazing though. I hope he hosts it every year now.

how the heck did anora win so many awards?????
what the heck seriously. what the heck in the world.
how ...mmhow I can't believe it

Did she thank Emelia Perez?
but there were other movies, other actresses

anora was just 2 hours of people having sex then screaming in Russian. literally that's what it is lol.
she just yells for the entire thing. what the heck are these awards doing???

The Academy Awards is a bunch of nonsense, and has been for my entire life, so nothing shocks me too much. The only thing I knew for certain going in was that Emilia Perez wasn't going to get nearly as many awards as it would have if the lead had never posted on social media. And that tells you the story as much as anything else. Woody Allen and Marlon Brando realized how stupid the whole thing was in the '70s, and it's only gotten worse since then.
