So, will we eventually reach a point where the Original walkers, say those infected in the first year, will just become too squishy and decayed to be mobile? I would think the world would become much more survivable at that point, especially in the warmer climates like Georgia.

hahah, u wish! these zombies is semi-immortals. humans will eat themselves, kill themselves, and starve before em zombies die out.

about what Norman said... why wouldn't he be allowed to cry in the episode if carol or beth dies?

he cried for Merle, he was able to cry on camera, but for this episode he says he had to cry for an hour so that he wouldn't cry on screen.....
but if it was carol or beth, wouldn't it makes sense for him to cry?

the only reason i could think of was that daryl himself gets killed, but i doubt they would do that. still the "no crying during the shoot" doesn't really make a lot of sense if it was either one of them

It points towards Carol with her injuries, but they could just be leading people to think that.

Well. She was crying a bit at NYCC (near the end of the panel). Possible last WD panel for her?...why the emotion?

That whole Reedus story could be a huge swerve. I'm guessing Glenn buys it. Daryl can't cry on screen because his character doesn't know what is happening to Abraham's group, but the actors would be aware Yeun is leaving the show, which could make their scenes difficult to shot? Seems too obvious that it would be Carol and/or Beth. Carol's growth as a character and McBride's performance should put her in the Rick and Carl safety zone. McBride could just as easily have been crying at NYCC about someone else leaving the show as herself.

yeah something like that, Glenn or Maggie or someone else.

He was by himself with Meryl. He may be with others when "whoever" dies. A lot of men won't cry in front of others. He has to put on a strong front. It's whatever the director wants him to do and he doesn't want him to shed a tear for some reason.

I don't think she'd cry over that. Maybe the crowd's reaction? She might've been overwhelmed by the love or something.

That was my thought too. If it was someone Daryl cared about, you'd think you'd want Norman to get emotional. I don't think Daryl would have to hold his emotions back in front of the group. I don't think he'd feel the need to pull the tough guys don't cry act. I think he'd be comfortable enough with the group enough to break down over losing someone they all cared about.

And it I can't imagine he'd cry like that over a new cast member leaving so soon. I imagine that would be his reaction when Daryl finally dies though. I mean, its essentially like getting fired. I think he really enjoys being on the show and even though he'd probably be able to easily get another gig quickly, he'd still probably miss his dream job.

So now I have no idea what to think. It could all be a publicity stunt. David Morrissey said he'd continue to play the Governor a couple more season right up until they killed the Governor, so they aren't above lying to prevent spoilers.

Some are saying on Facebook that he said he cried AFTER the scene was shot, so who knows?

I heard Daryl cried before, during AND after the scene. Basically he's unprofessional. Christian Bale told reporters he'll never work with him.

If Carol died even Rick would cry, the character would have to cry on screen (not even talking about the actors) everyone would cry, even Carl.
same with Beth. It's just weird for Norman to cry himself out so that he is not crying in the episode. Maybe you are totally right but it sounds really odd. maybe the baby dies?

no he cried for an hour before the shoot so that he wouldn't have anything left crying during the shooting of the episode. if he did cry before, during and after, but Not during the episode it just sound really weird.
