I like your thoughts. I agree with most everything you said. But I would be lying if I said I wouldn't be disappointed if
anyone but Negan kills Glen. I has to be Negan and I don't see that happening until season 6 at the earliest. But I really like the idea of Nicholas shooting Carls eye out. That would be great.

Honestly, I think they are saving Glen's comic death for Daryl at this point, even with all of the foreshadowing with Glen and bats this season. I'd be surprised if that doesn't happen. It would instantly cement everyone's hatred for him and possibly keep grieving fans around to see Negan brought to justice. In any case, when Daryl dies, its got to be by someone the audience can hate and come back to see them get what's coming to them.

Tyreese's death in the comic was one of the more memorable ones and they gave that to Herschel instead. So they've swapped around some of those major deaths, possibly just to keep comic readers guessing. But Gimple does seem to be a big fan of the comic so he might want to keep that one the same because of its 100th issue significance (ironically season 7's finale would be episode 99 if they keep the 16 episode schedule, making season 8's 1st episode the 100th. They could practically make the 100th issue the 100th episode too if they can hold off on Negan for 2 more years)

Glen is certainly going to be in danger this episode with Nicolas having that blender gun. And like I said before, I can see Glen dodging the bullet (literally) if Carl gets it instead. I can even imagine his face being half blown off being the final shot of the season. That would be a good cliff hanger.

Why does Carl need to agree to boot Rick? Is Rick getting the boot? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure there is only one person able to give Rick the boot: Rick.

Basically, with regards to booting Rick, Carl is neither here nor there. imo

So you think Rick sees that he turning into Shane v2 and boots himself?

Possible I guess, I just assumed Deanna and crew were going to exile him, if that indeed does happen

Oh, nonono. I don't think Rick will boot himself. I don't think anyone in Alexandria is strong enough to boot him. But I am also with Ween. I think the Shane/Rickk parallels are interesting but ultimately I don't think Rick is turning into a Shane v.2

Really though, on a TV show, any character who gets part of his face blown off is going to die and not be kept around - the actor won't want to inflict the make-up chair on himself every working day for as long as his character remains in the show. Same reason Rick never lost one of his hands like in the comic - that's just too much hassle and too restricting for a TV show

Carl mostly keeps it covered with either his hair or sunglasses. No biggie. CGI it only once in a while.

Yep, and if it comes to it they can always just give him an eye patch. Gives them another reason to bring David Morrissey back from time to time as haunting flashes for Rick to struggle with :lol

And I imagine he'd get hit less severely than he did in the comic. Just barely take out an area around his eye. Easy enough to cover and nasty enough to show from time to time. I mean if Scott Wilson can take a season on crutches, a teenager should be able to wear on eye patch or something. They have let Carl's hair grow for a reason. He didn't get a hair cut from Jesse (well, I guess nobody did, Rick's just special).

We know Scott Gimple, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride will be appearing on this week's Talking Dead. Who do we think will be the "mystery" guest?

My guess is
Lennie James (Morgan)!

They're not gonna kill Sasha off. She's going through a bad patch, but she'll survive it and be stronger for it.

The only one I want to die is Gabriel. Tara also seems pretty useless half the time, but considering she survived the last attack, I don't see them killing her off now.

Depends, I could see her dying because Rick attacked Pete therefore driving a further wedge of blame towards him.

I think what would gut a lot of them would be if the baby was killed.

If they didn't do with during The Governor arc, they won't do it now. It'll be a point of suspense for a lot of people continually.

Carol is the only decent member of the female characters at the moment IMO. Sasha is boring, Maggie's gone quiet and Michonne needs to get her swords back asap.

Rosita isn't bad. I like Carol, I think they just don't have anything for Maggie to do, she started the season strong and whimpers out at the end but then again Darryl isn't taking centerstage either.

I think it's funny the thread is a spoiler thread and we're still posting spoiler tags but okay:

Negan will come and will kill Glenn. That was such a pivotal point in the books and he was a character from the beginning, they won't do it any other way.

So you think Rick sees that he turning into Shane v2 and boots himself?

Possible I guess, I just assumed Deanna and crew were going to exile him, if that indeed does happen

He won't. If they kick him out, he'll grab Carl and Judith and walk. Only to return for next season's mid-season finale.

I don't know, Lincoln wanted his hand off they just never did it. I think as much of a powerhouse as this show is now I think you'll see AMC putting more money into it and that's a way to go, plus Riggs is young I'm sure he'd think it'd be awesome and wouldn't care too much.

This isn't a spoiler thread, it clearly states in the subject line - Comic and Un-aired spoilers unwelcome.

"What dress is Enid wearing to the prom, Coral?"

"Yes."

"I mean what's she wearing?"

"Coral."

"I know your name, I'm trying to find out about the dress."

"Coral is the dress."

"Is the dress what? Why are you asking me about the dress?

"I'm not asking you, I'm telling you - coral is the dress."

"I'm asking you--what's the dress' color, Coral?"

"That's the color of the dress."

these Alexandrian are just beggin to be whipped. waiting for some outside group to cause some chaos and Rick to the rescue. Mr. Green sense this is just a mini reboot within TWD.

I can't see Rick getting exiled without him wanting to be exiled. If for whatever reason Dianna and the Alexandrian's wanted him out and his own people let it happen without his agreeing to it, that would be more disappointing to me than anything that has happened in this show in any of the previous seasons.

I don't think Sasha will die, she's their only sniper and they need someone in that tower.
