Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Even Daryl. The horse he picked was a kicker. :lol
He stole the horse though, right? Which resulted in his injury and near death. So yeah, he's made his share of stupid decisions, that being the most obvious, thus far.

Anyway, as for Lori, I try not to judge her too much. I wouldn't know what it would be like to be in her shoes, but she does get a bit bossy. Then again, Andrea has some emo tendencies and seems a little on the preachy side at times.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

All the women are preachy, almost as preachy as mid season Hershel.

The producers described her as TWD's Lady Macbeth. If you're at all familiar with that play, you'll know she's a villain. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Really? I've not read much of the comics, so I don't really know much of what they are based upon at the very core. That just seems off. Although, now that you mention it, I didn't see Shane coming till more than a few episodes in. Even then I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

:lol You need to pay more attention. She was the instigator for Shane going looney, talked Rick into killing him, then was disgusted at Rick for doing so, and can't even be bothered to watch Carl, preferring to stir **** up between Maggie and Andrea and then yells at everybody else when Carl winds up missing.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Anyone else seen the "Stay in the house Carl." Shirts yet? Saw one at the mall and had a good chuckle...

Well, to be fair, I don't think she told Rick to kill him, just that there was a problem and he may have to deal with it at some point. As for Shane, that was going to happen regardless. In that kind of environment, with all that they had been through, there's no telling what either was feeling, after being reunited with Rick and especially after Lori went back to her husband, as she should have.

The last part you mentioned is pretty spot on though. She should've kept to herself on the matter and payed more attention to Carl and he wouldn't be getting into trouble.

You either really need to re-watch that episode or you have a thing for Lori. :lol After Rick returns from killing those two weirdos in the bar, in the tent, she tells Rick, "You killed those men to protect the ones you love." after telling him that Shane's gonna be a problem. Clearly she was inferring he kill Shane. We all laughed at the soap opera-esque atmosphere of the scene and the camera zooming in on Rick's angry face after she whispers that in his ear.

Looks like devil has some competition. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

That has been done before in the Dawn of the Dead remake and done *****tily I might add. I can't see TWD repeating that atrocious mistake.

I'd like to see the show go the same route as the comic book with Lori and the baby. :D

Daryl doesn't decide anything, he just puts an arrow through it! :rock

That would be kinda harsh tho. Hope something less bad happens to her cuz that was messed up. Especially what happened to Hershel's daughters.

Nah, I still say...

she was more implying that Rick would have to deal with Shane at some point, in order to protect all of them, including himself. She didn't mean to outright murder him, which is supposedly what Rick claims to have done when we see the events unfold near the end of the last season. So, that would really be the only logical reason for her to have been upset. Either that or she's out of her bipolar mind?

Can't say I have a "thing" for any of the chicks on the show, except perhaps Maggie. :lol

This. Lori may not have told Rick to kill Shane outright but it was very clear what she was implying and what she wanted done.

You need to it watch that episode again. As I've already said, the producers of the show have personally stated she's TWD's Lady Macbeth. In Shakespeare's play, Lady Macbeth is a villain. :wink1:

Lol dingus. Imma name my son dingus khan.

Cool, just ignore my warning. Last idiot who posted potential show spoilers was banned until the season finale, so hopefully, you'll go away until next summer!. :yess: :lol

^ Please do not have a son. :lol

I've always wanted to ask you. Do you really go through the trouble of making your posts colored, or is there a shortcut I don't know about? :lol

I go through the trouble on every post because........

I'm worth it.

And maybe she turns out to be one? That could be possible.

However, I've seen season three at least twice through. I remember it well enough to know, at present, she's either; a) bipolar as **** or b) wanted Shane out of the way, but only as a defense against what he was capable of, meaning that she didn't necessarily want him murdered in cold blood. Those are the only two logical possibilities at the moment. Not saying the producers don't intend to turn her into a villain, but she's not at that point yet. One could argue the whole Shane thing is the gateway to such character, but whatever.

Anyway, not seeing how my point is that hard to grasp. There's a difference in what you guys are "implying" her intentions were and what she actually said, as well as the way she's acted throughout the season(s), thus far. Keep in mind, the rules change, at one point or another, in an environment like the one they are in, even if they yearn to be more civilized.

Besides, no one can really say that Shane wouldn't have had to be dealt with pretty soon anyway. Lori just happened to be the one to speak up, outside of Dale.
