BTW, this idea that they'd go to the hospital to get Rick is pretty ridiculous. A hospital - every hospital - would be ground zero for something like this. It's where the early infected would go to die. It's where there's already a bunch of other recently dead and dying. The place would be crawling with zombies before they knew what was even happening. Not logical enough for you and you need proof? That's where hundreds of bodies are lying on the loading dock shot in the head, and there's a huge abandoned military presence - they're initial stand against the spread. The idea that you might even be able to get into the hospital at all in the early break out is pretty silly, as it would get quarantined first.
And you don't need to read the comics to think Shane is a ****** - we've already seen him show twice that he doesn't care about anyone outside his small circle, and if I had to bet, Lori and Carl would be sacrificed before he sacrificed himself. He's a stand up guy until there's a threat he percieves is a real one to himself - then he steps back to his true self centered nature.
I don't expect that I'm going to like Lori on the show any more than I did in the comics based on what we saw in the clip for this week. My problem with her isn't that she's sleeping with Shane or that she left Rick at the hospital - I get that. My problem with her is that she can't pick a side. In the first couple episodes, we see her frustration and anger at Shane for not helping others. In the clip we see her _____y attitude about Rick helping others. She wants her man to be a hero and help others, but only when she decides he should. And that drives me nuts.
