Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

hey guys, what was this week's contest code? i totally missed it (twice)!

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

awesome! thanks guys! entered. :)

wow, i watched twice and missed it both times. isn't it usually at the last 5 minutes?

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I think the third episode has put that to rest. If it hasn't, then there's a bus leaving for the convent in half an hour. If the nuns are quick, they can still catch it.

:lol

This episode should make some people have a little sympathy for Lori.....and it definitely planted the BASTARD tag on Shane, lol.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Nah, I think Shane's just not too bright.

He was genuinely happy that Rick is back, and I think he feels like scum for lying to her.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

This I don't understand????
The guy on the roof. He got a metal saw.....and he chooses to cut his own hand than the rusty bar where the handcuff is attached?:dunno

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Do we know it's his hand? Cuffs might have been too tough for the saw too. Also, where did he go?

:huh

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I think it's his hand as they show that he leave it there on the floor and the cuff all bloddy

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

At first, I thought Merle jumped off the building and commited suicide. But then again, if those zombies were making their way through the door, he might've fought them off and escaped downstairs and elsewhere in the city.

As for Shane, I don't necessarily think he lied. He just assumed the worst. Guy in a coma trapped in a zombie-infested hospital. What do you think would happen? Sheer luck he'd escape and make his way back to his family. IMO, Shane told Lori the most likely outcome and things just happened down the line. While the husband is back and the family needs to get its integrity up again, Shane still shouldn't be treated the way he was by Lori because anyone in their right mind would've labeled Rick a dead man.

i think he definitely cut his own hand off. Maybe he went for the hand instead because he felt he had very little time to cut through the chain, so he opted for the hand. Yes we know that the zombies probably wouldn't have broken the door down, but maybe he didn't, partially due to him being a little crazy at the time.

Another great episode. I'm loving how little music there is in this show, but when it has music, it's very powerful and fitting for the scene.

Now maybe some of the Lori hate will shift to Shane after this episode.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

how many episodes have there been so far?
ive just downloaded the first 3 episodes and am about to watch them.
is this as good as the trailers?
i hope so.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Just 3.

I think it's his hand as they show that he leave it there on the floor and the cuff all bloddy

But that's all they showed; a hand and the saw, which is not enough information to draw that conclusion. Didn't even seem to be much blood. If Merle had cut his own hand off, the place would have been covered with it.
