did anyone see talking dead last night?did the girl(I forget her name )give a negative spoiler?i noticed at the end when they started talking about negan she said "the writers describe him as...."why would the writers be describing negan to her unless he was being introduced?i really don't think they will introduce him yet,I think they should do a few more seasons before bringing negan to the screen but it seems he is a very popular character and maybe there gonna jump on that boat and ride it to the bank!

Also, I think people complaining about the last two eps being boring need to remember that in Walking Dead time, they take place the same day and a day after the prison attack. I thought both episodes were solid.

I can agree that the little shoe in the mud with the Walkers by the track looked a lot like the shoes being worn by Mika, but we never see Mika loose a shoe, so maybe it was another kid's shoe and Beth breaks down because she is starting to realize that maybe most everyone else she knows is dead.

The two plot points I question are

What happened to the people on the bus? I hope there is some more details/answers coming in a future ep because right now I have no idea how all the people in the bus were locked in and turned into Walkers. Maybe one or more of them shot the rest and left to join another group?

Second plot point is Glenn being at the prison. It was sneaky misdirection by the writers to make us believe Glenn was still on the bus when it left. I can see Glenn getting off the bus and going to look for Maggie. I find it harder to believe that he was on that prison walkway when the tank shell blew it apart.

^that's the part I couldn't remember. What was the last scene Glen was in during the mid-season finale? I could've sworn he was on the bus so I was confused when he was shown being knocked out on the walkway.

Yup - the last shot was of Glen in the doorway of the bus as Maggie ran back out. Maggie did some shooting then looked back and the bus drove away - with, we assumed, Glen on it.

There is currently no explanation as to how he ended up on his back on that prison walkway.

There is stuff happening. If you're having trouble seeing that then maybe this show isn't for you? :dunno

Rick and Carl found a house. Carl ate some food and lost a shoe.

Daryl and Beth did.....nothing.

Maggie cried on a bus.

Tyreese used a hammer.

Erm...I honestly can't think of any plot.

Although I agree that last weekends episode was a little slow I don't see why last nights is getting the negativity it is. I thought it was very well done. Viewers seem to think that they have to see every little detail. I don't see where the confusion is on Glenn. I forgot whether or not he got off the bus on the season finale but he did explain how he ended up still as the prison. Made sense to me. As far as the shoe. I thought it was Carls shoe. I thought maybe the zombie in the house escaped somehow and dropped it when he started feeding. I missed the first 5 minutes though so I don't know if Carl got his shoe from Michonne or not.

That is a very top level, cursory summary.

Additionally, Carol was found to be hanging by the prison when it was attacked and then tracked Tyreese and the girls and finally met up with them. They are now headed along the tracks to Terminus. Beth and Daryl are also on the tracks about 4-5 hours behind them. It is only a matter if time before they meet up.

Maggie knows Glenn is still alive, but doesn't know where. Glenn was back at the prison. He found Tara alive and they both escaped. They ran into Abraham, Eugene and Rosita. Three new characters who will play a big part for the rest of the season. Are they from Terminus? Just passing through?

Michonne found Rick and Carl. Now they have to find either more members of their group or more new people.

I am really curious as to how this all plays out. there are several separate story lines that are starting up and I want to see how it all comes together.

What would you have liked to have seen?

What I love about this show is that all of the characters are flawed and they make mistakes. Some are little annoying ones (like Tyreese leaving the girls in the woods alone) and some are big catastrophic ones (like the council/Rick not having a meeting place as a failsafe in case the prison ever fell). These mistakes are what make the show interesting to me. If they were all perfect and made perfect decisions every time, then the show would get very boring and predictable.

So while I can understand some people's frustration with the pace of the recent episodes, I think a little patience and tabling of the "instant gratification" mentality would serve them better.

I get that have to try and tie everything back together but there are to many characters now. Many I don't give 2 ****s about. Its like they are introducing more but what's the point? They add nothing to the story.

You can't think of any plot? The main plot is still the same as it was from season 1. Trying to survive. The sub plots involve the different characters. Glenn and Maggie hoping that the other is still alive and trying to find each other. Carl resenting Rick for his failures but still loving him. Michonne getting back with some of her companions. The story line with Carol and Tyrese is going to grow nicely until he finds out she killed his girlfriend. It will get intense when he finds out. The older girl is crazy and is going to kill someone. I mentioned it last season that I thought Darryl and the younger daughter whose name escapes me will start to like each other. I still believe that. If you really think there is no plot then you are not looking very hard.

Yeah I don't get the negativity either. Specially when the last half of season 3 was so crappy and everyone was defending that one so much.
Now we are getting the show to be really interesting and keep the pace up, and people hate it....

I guess people liked it better when people just moped around in the prison and talked about going to war against the gov for 4 episodes straight......
or when they were looking for Sophia while nothing happened :lol

Wow...I guess other peoples opinions don't count if you don't totally love every ****ing minute of the show? Please.
I like TWD. I collect TWD. I started reading the comics.
I just didn't care for the last two episodes. Wtf?

I have to agree that the last couple episodes were quite slow and left me with a "meh" feeling after watching them. I have confidence things will pick up soon...

Gosh, it's a good job I've got you.

In all seriousness, they show just feels as if it has lost something. Seasons 1 and 2 had something unique; something very challenging to try and describe and put into words. Each episode was something to savour probably because the number of episodes per season was a lot fewer.

The first half of Season 3 was fantastic but lost it towards the end - I think this was a result of AMC being given more episodes. Proof that more is not always better.

Season 4 is struggling, its labouring on, desperate to regain that initial excitement and danger.

Don't get me wrong: I love the show but it really has got some work to do.

This is a forum. This is what they are all about. One side discusses their side and the other tries to explain to them why they are full of ****. It wouldn't be very exciting if we all agreed on everything. Relax, we're all just having a discussion.

I don't see anyone attacking you or your opinion. They are simply stating their own opinions, myself included. So we don't agree. So what? Relax.

Don't get me wrong: I love the show but it really has got some work to do.

season 1 is perfect and it was made with passion.

Season 2 was made with less money and stretching the budget as much as they could. We got to see wonderful episodes of Lori arguing with everyone, with Carl never being in the house and with the group looking for Sophia and arguing about stupid crap.
That's what season 2 was. a whole bunch of Nothing...

to me it is really shocking that someone would say season 2 and say season 4 is bad so far.... Did we watch the same show? Season 2 was made long and boring on purpose because they couldn't afford to have zombies appear too much... They were given less than in season 1 and they were told to make DOUBLE the episodes.
Really wtf? How the hell is season 2 better than 4? season 2 almost put me in a coma for how boring it was

so yeah, Season 4 is missing something season 2 had, season 4 is missing having no budget, a very lame and incompetent show runner in Glen Mazzara, and having no zombies for most of the first half.
