It reminded me of the game last of us. I dont know if you ever played that game but the rick scene felt just like that.

I was thinking the same thing - very similar to Joel eluding the hunters.

I'm starting to think Tara is cute too.

It was her appearance on Talking Dead that sold me on her.

2.) What was up with the bloody painting that was neatly wrapped up and placed up against the bathroom door?

b.) OCD Walkers - just beacuse you're dead doesn't mean you can't still be neat

Curious on this as well...why go to the trouble when a simple "DEAD INSIDE" would suffice?

He's a high school science teacher. His whole story about knowing what started the plague is BS. And his satellite phone doesn't even have batteries in it. He's only using Abraham for protection.

I am definitely going with guy turning into a walker to **** their **** up. I assume he didn't think it would happen right there but at least at some point.

Yea, I couldn't figure out at first why he opened the bathroon door after killing that guy and then when I heard the gun shots I got it.

The picture didn't make sense to me other than telling Michonne somebody messed up was in that house at some point, if it was a warning, why was it covered up?

1.A/C. Dead guy will revive and give him an opportunity to escape?
2.C. Guessing someone else had already checked the house and wanted to warn anyone else what might be inside. IDK...

Ok, it wasn't just me then. I think the writing was a little sloppy in the episode. Either that or coincidences have become the norm.

Out of all the houses in that neighborhood, the marauders just happen to pick the house that Rick is in? Did the marauder in the bedroom kill that other guy? If so, then he just goes to sleep with a dead guy in the room? Bathroom guy reanimates at the exact moment that Rick needs a distraction. The wrapped bloody painting is one big question mark. Who put it there? All the people were dead on the other side of the door so it couldn't have been one of them. What kind of house has an entry to a bathroom from the hallway but not to the two bedrooms? Why wrap the painting up?

I also forgot how Eugene couldn't shoot a walker to save his life but managed to put a shot into the fuel line of the truck and render it useless. Convienent.


I wonder if they brought back Mazzara for this ep.

Definitely. There'd be no other reason for someone like Jeff Kober to make an appearance if it were just a small cameo.

As far as the pink bedroom goes, I assumed the mom killed the kids, then herself. I think she put a bullet in her head because the back of her head was open and there was blood spray on the wall. I think the mom put the painting there to sort of mark their grave.

I agree it looked like the Mom did the murder/suicide, but how exactly did she place the painting against the door after being inside?

Also, slightly off topic but saw this video and thought it was a good retrospective of the first 3 seasons, albeit somewhat Rick centric....very well done:

As soon as the episode was done I knew the filler argument was coming and I won't argue it. Personally, I enjoyed the tension with the hunters vs Rick in the house and love the new jacket!

I did find the Michonne and Coral scenes dragged but whatever. I assumed the person in the chair killed the other four, painted the picture, wrapped it, sat in the rocking chair then offed herself.

I was also ok with Glenn's scenes since it gave you an idea of what the deal was with Abraham and his group.

I'm wondering if when Glenn finds Maggie she will have hung herself and he'll show up just in time to save her? (since they haven't shown her, Sasha and Bob heading to Terminus)

The Mom was an Artist (all the paintings in the house) so making the painting and wraping it seems fine. It wouldn't have been too hard to put the painting in front of the door, before shutting herself in.
