And perhaps cross referencing them with other headsculpt lists that ended up with recasts like the Bruce Wayne head or even some of Skiman's sculpts. Perhaps if we can start narrowing it down to common buyers on the lists, we may be able to find the recaster!

That really sucks!! I wonder if it's the same guy who's recasting the zombie heads Gabriel has on the 'bay? Username sounds familiar.
Recasters are the bane of hobbies- I once ran into a guy at Tap Plastics who was trying to get help on casting a large, irregular shaped object. I happened to take a look at the pic on his phone & saw it was a Fett helmet. Having been once a seller of Fett armor, I intro'd myself, we shook hands & having not released his hand, told him I was a member of both the dented helmet & replica props forums. He being a few inches smaller, he turned pale, sweat broke out on his forehead- I asked him who made the helmet & was he recasting it. He pulled his hand free & left the store... Bastard! I tell ya, that was one surprised sonuva_____!

Thanks guys for the support in regards to the re-casting matter.
So I think I know who it is now. I have an email address but not 100% if it's a real name or not. He took the auction down... for now. It is not someone I have a record of selling to. He actually sent me an email which I'm not sure if I should post or not but it is quite comical and bizarre... sort of apology, denial, then business proposal haha.
I will pm the name to all independent artists I can think of on here in hopes to make them aware of this potential poacher.

Maybe if you do another run people won't be forced to turn to recasters just to get one.

It's sad that there are such leaches out there. I've sent them a message to stop but since they obviously have no scruples I doubt it will do any good. Coz everyone wants one and it is relatively easy to recast h/s .
PRetty easy money for recasters if the head is popular.
