it's like, wtf is that cat thinking? Did he really figure that, of all the admittedly few options available to him, that this was the best one? Was he trying for a different manoeuvre but slipped on the rug and got mixed up in his own limbs? Was he trying to baffle his opponent, ie some sort of intimidation-through-ridiculousness strategy?

I would give my right nut to know what happens next.

This cat makes me think of the...I was going to say "dorks", but I'll go with..."unusual people" that you see from time-to-time who would end up in a fight with a person who you are certain thaey are going to lose to, then they would try some ridiculous fighting stance to try to look badass...then they would get lucky and win the fight.

So, to help out lejuan...the upside-down cat is about to trounce the bigger, and obviously more dominant one.
