Love my Buffy but with the fact I have a house (found out I got it on Monday) and my interest in other lines like Marvel, Aliens, and Predator, I just can't get into another. Too bad really because I liked this line.

yeah, you guys are right, something is off with the way the eyes are painted, and the pink lips kinda sucks. I like the adjusted lips silentsurfer did. The freckles look okay I suppose...I might still pick this up...but I guess I'll wait and see what the future of the line is first....

The future of this line looks pretty good, so don't delay...trust that I know my stuff.

Maybe I am biased because I am getting her and some other people are biased because they are not getting her or cannot afford to get her but they are definitely getting better as they go along. This statue trumps a lot of stuff based off real life people that sideshow has put out lately.

Oh god I'm really not keen. Sorry. I mean Trevs sculpt is excellent and all that, but the pose and the skank pose/clothes are such a ridiculous thing to have chosen for her considering what her character actually was like in the show.

Once pieces hit the $200-$300 mark (a while ago, I know), I've done my best to adopt this "must have" approach to my expenditures. One thing I will not do anymore is buy a statue simply because I think it might be the only one made of the character, or to complete a display, just because. Sadly, it appears too many fans buy statues they don't even like, let alone love.

IMO, the prelims looked okay. This strikes me as far less attractive.
Kudos to those who are happy with the final product.

I am a sucker for Trevor Grove sculpts, and it is great to finally see a perfect likeness for Willow. I love the Fear Itself base and the accessories. Maybe the outfite doesn't quite fit nature of the character, but it certainly captures Hannigan well, so it was a must have for me all around.

This piece isn't about Aly. It's about Willow. And it royally fails in that dept. Just because I love that Sideshow is releasing Buffy stuff, doesn't mean I wont speak my mind about how I really feel. It's a complete opposite of her character. That being said, I still think it's a nice piece and will look cool with the others. I would have liked a different pose though, Buffy and Faith's being so bad-a-s-s.

haha, well I guess everything boils down to three things for me: character, money and space. I know this is probably the best Willow figure we have so far but these days I'm not that much of a buffy completionist. I'll probably get this sometime...but as of now, I have too much on my plate.

I am pretty sure the 'character' part of it wont be a disappointment this time, like with the Pf's and dang 12". Of course I make no promises, but it's looking sunny.

I decided to wait as I am only getting her to complete the line. My views on the inappropriate pose have already been expressed in this thread. I have bought some awful tat because it is Buffy related in my time. If they had done Cordelia in her cheerleader outfit brandishing her pompoms in that pose I wouldn't have minded.

I'm sure too. I'm very excited about this line, and even though I have my issues with Willow, I'm loving the piece as far as I can see. And I hope the line won't stop after Angel.

I'm not great with photo taking and SS already put up great shots. But here are a couple. I just set the things on the base, but honestly, I may not leave them there. Her shoes are so great I wanna be able to see them at every angle. The face is 'meh' as the paint really botched up a great sculpt. Other than that, she's perfect!
