i agree that it doesn't a market change, even though it was the same person that purchased both of them (i didn't notice that).

there still had to be a runner up for both pieces. unless he was shadow bidding/running it up??

I can understand the Hulk PF going for that much (ie Christmas etc.) but the Thing ?!?! WOW!!! I never would have expected that even with the holiday season among us.

yep, the last few i seen sell have been in the $150-$200 range.
so that one certainly popped up.:lol

Like you guys have said in the past, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Quad, did you ever get the International Variant?

I bid on the Thing back when it was at $10.50. I finally got outbid sometime after I went to bed at 10pm.

Geez, Sideshow still has the exclusive version in stock for $324.00 plus shipping (I should know, I've been wanting one but haven't had the cash).

I wonder how many of these auctions are being shill-bid. I've bid on a few things that I didn't win but within 30 minutes to an hour after the auctions closed I got second chance offers on them. Each time it sounded like someone had a friend up the bid as high as it would go and then if they won they would offer it the second place guy. Every one of them were no reserve auctions that saw little action until the last hour or so.

i just checked 5 of his other sold items, and 4 of them also had the same purchaser as these 2, now he may of even bought more but i wasn't keeping track of the other items, so i can't go back and check them.

so either way this guy bought a lot of items off of this guy.
