:lol It's a sparkling Italian dry wine. And no hangover today! :yess:

You must have had fun.

I have found that if I have a lot of fun when I am drinking, I do not suffer nearly as bad a hangover.

If I have a "bad drunk"...I pay the next day.

This phenomenon has lead me to believe that there is a God of Drunkenness who punishes people who are lousy drunks like they were sinners.

It has been a long time since I have had a "bad drunk".

Sadly...I did not have too much fun. But I did drink a lot of water before I went to bed. Perhaps the God of Drunkenness took pity on my crummy day and granted me a hangover free morning. :lol

I ____ing love this response. Here's what a MOD on another forum posted after someone posted a humorous photo of Hurricane Irene...tis a tad bit of a read. But still...made my day.

THE POSTER SAID: I agree, the fear mongering from the media is what is at fault here and not the people who are surviving the storm.
Come on Narx, you know better.

What the Mod said...

If you're not going to listen to Marx, then you will listen to me, because if you post something like that again I'll not only infract you, you're going to get a lot of time off.

I live in Northern NJ, and the flooding from this storm is the worst our area has ever seen. We were evacuated from our apartment complex, which is still under so much water I don't know when the hell we're going to be let back in, then we were evacuated from my parents' house on Sunday night. That place never floods and the water was rising so quickly were only given minutes to pack up and leave.

I was packing while holding my terrified, sobbing nephew in one arm. We had to leave his dad's car behind, and we're pretty sure it's been destroyed.

We weren't even allowed back into town today to see how things are. My aunt lives in the same part of town and none of us are sure if they have houses to go back to. I heard their street is basically a lake right now.

My cousin is dealing with the water being shutoff at her house, her friend's house was destroyed by a falling tree. Our closest supermarket is underwater.

My boss lives in Long Island, and they have not had heat and hot water since Saturday night.

So don't go griping about "fear mongering"...because things are bad, if not worse than what was predicted for a whole lot of people. This hurricane wasnt "nothing".

Posting a picture like that was unbelievably cruel. NJ is my home, and home to a lot of good people having a really terrible time right now. You can't say you're not picking on the people affected by this when you post something like that, because that's exactly what you did.

So do not pull that crap again.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I think Marx and danoyse need to calm down. You two are taking this way to personally. It's the internet. Breathe, step away from the 'ban' button and close the thread or something. But threatening infractions for people doing things that aren't breaking the rules is silly use of mod power.

You could say that people are 'trolling' at this point, but really the only reason that's happening is because Marx keeps bringing it up. Look at the first few pages of the thread. The tone hasn't changed all that much that I can see. But I guess, it's all fun and games until people die and Mod's houses get flooded?

Understandable, death and material loss is a horribly sobering thing, I've been through both in my life. But maybe close the thread and open a new one that has a more sobering title and first post would be more appropriate?

That said, I'm glad your family is safe danoyse, and I sincerely mean it. I have family in Maryland and Pennsylvania I was worried sick about the entire time, and friends and family in the Carolina's and Florida too.

Are you refering to the guy in the vid showing of his super awesome muscles. If so l thought young girls like you loved those muscle bound type guys.

yes, but there is an unwritten rule that they are not supposed to admit it.

I am almost willing to believe that if he had lived a few years longer...his viral videos would have dragged him to Hollywood.

He looks like he would fit right in with Jersey Shore.

Yes he would fit in perfectly. He is clearly in love with himself, but if l had muscles like that, l am sure l would spend more time infront of the mirror as well.:lol

Why did the guy in the vid die or something?

Apparently he had an undiagnosed congenital heart defect and he died while he was in a sauna earlier this month.

That was the story his family gave...there are other who said he was in Thailand for steroids and those are what caused his heart failure. His brother was charged for possessing steroids shortly before zyzz died according to the news story I read.

I don't know which one is true...but either way it is tragic.
