You got the basics down. Listening to storms is awesome.

But mine is sitting next to a fire, watching whatever movie I am in the mood for, with a bowl of my homemade chili and a cup of my wife's home made hot cocoa, and listening to a rain or snow storm (of course, the snow storm has to be pretty windy to be "heard").
