Yeah I find it hard to be optimistic about the fight against cancer. Every other week it seems there's some breakthrough that you never hear about again and everyone is still dying.
And that's saying nothing about the likelihood that there are people out there who don't want cancer to be cured.

Exactly. There are whole hospitals devoted to Cancer treatment. Radiation centers, etc.
That's not going away any time soon.

That could be, but Big Pharm makes a ton of money on treatments as well.
Whatever became of that Canadian kid who came up with that simple testing strip for cancer that would help detect it in the very early stages. Heard about it once and that was it.

I don't, I haven't even acknowledged it or many years, but I certainly 'do' nice chocolates anytime - she sends them every year.
.Tho this year has been very different and weird overall, I've even sent presents to 'family'
- using ' ' cos I'm not used to actually having 'family'. How long this will last, who knows

EDIT: I also love that my friend (same one) who I sent a picture to recently, one I drew, sent me an email saying how:
"****** awesome the picture is in real life WOW, you need to be selling these shell !!"
I used to sell artwork but haven't even drawn for the longest time, only started drawing again in October.
So for her to say that is a big compliment for me
