Setting myself up for a day of slow-Internet-speed troubleshooting... off to the computer shop to price routers... walked out my driveway instead of driving as usual... and saw a telecommunications guy working on some cabling... he said G'day... asked him if he was working on "internet-related stuff". He ended up testing all my connections, found the fault was at the street and got me back up from dial-up speed to broadband. All for the price of a cold drink. I wish I had a case of beer I could've sent him away with.
