I don't really care about the character but I'd rather Marvel chooses someone that can act instead of whatever flavor of the month happens to pop up. Rousey should never have been talked about as a serious choice by anyone.

They have to follow the law, but I believe he'll get off unless the prosecutor cuts him a deal, like probation.
