I think mullets are pretty cool now, I used to hate them but I've seen some pretty /fa/ ones, you need the right bone structure tho.

What I hate now are the manbuns, what a trite style, manbuns and short back and sides have been overused to death. I confess I went full Sokka like 5 years ago, but as soon as I saw another dude with the same style I went "yup, it's over ", and buzzed it.

I've had a nice John Connor-core for a while now, but that one's also pretty stale now, about to buzz it any time now.

I think I had a similar experience as yours, when I decided to loose the "bun" . Everyone started wearing them, to the point its gotten so sickening. It takes a long time for my hair to grow out, because it's wavy. That's why I'm always so apprehensive about cutting it. But, it's been a year since my last hair cut, and I'm finally past the infamous "awkward stage".

Maybe it's just I'm so used to it but I don't have a problem with Gibson's mullet in Lethal Weapon 1-3. There are some types of mullet though that are unforgivable - such as the one Bono had in the eighties.

That doesn't look bad. That's what he had during the Vertigo tour I think. His Live Aid mullet was horrific though.

But honestly they were only in with Rednecks and Glam rock types....
We should probably define the mullet better....I don't think Gibson's cut in Lethal weapon is a mullet....

But you need a good face to sport one, that's a **** mullet. These are also mullets and they look pretty cool.

No one seems to be able to define what a mullet looks like. IMO, it's short hair on top, and the long hair on the back.

However, if it's evenly long on top, the sides and the back, then it's not a mullet, IMO.
