I really have no interest in any of the new films. People can enjoy them, it don't bother me none. I don't care to see Rogue One when I already saw the Tarkin and Vader scenes on YT, and that was enough.

Though the Vader scene didn't really fit within the canon, I actually thought it was awesome. It's how I always imagined Vader would be in battle. I didn't really care for RO either. But since this is the Love thread, I'll say that I....love Porgs. :monkey3

I couldn't make it through all of Rogue One, and CGI Tarkin in 1080p HD didn't help with that. Looked one step above an Unreal Engine 4 render.

The man is just earning his paycheck.

Interestingly enough I ran across a slightly older interview with Hamill where he talked about how in sync he and Trevorrow were with their ideas for Luke's story progression in Episode IX - Trevorrow was fired from the project shortly after. I genuinely believe Disney had Luke killed off in post and didn't tell anyone until the premiere.

Oh for ****'s sake. Everything I see and hear about this movie makes me wonder what the **** they were thinking. I wasn't in any hurry to see this after TFA, but I was hoping for something a little better than Luke milking a whatever-the-****-that-is.

The full scene is even worse. The thing gives Rey this weird seductive look as Luke's milking it. It's udderly bizarre.

Oh man you got to see it. Right off the bat the movie picks up from when Rey hands Luke his saber. And the BMF just tosses it over his shoulder and walks by her. :lol

I have to go see it--if not for any other reason than I can't believe some of the **** people are saying happens in it. It sounds like any respect toward the characters and back story has been completely tossed out the window. I was going to give it the benefit of the doubt because I thought all the backlash was nerds getting pissy because Stahr Wurs, but it sounds like there are plenty of reasons for valid complaints.

You asked about this in another thread, so here it is, albeit with some transformative audio. Be warned, you can never un-see this...
