I LOVE the prologues on the BR2049 Blu Ray, really cool especially the anime one.

However i’m a little disappointed in the special features.

The original is fantastic, but prepare yourself for a slow film. It's not Star Trek The Movie slow, but it's not a non-stop action sci-fi thriller either. I'm really looking forward to seeing BR2049. I've pretty much stopped going to theaters to see films so I always have to wait for the digital or blu ray release.

That's what lots of people are saying. It's quite surprising to see that type of reaction. I'll do it soon.

It's a shame that Ridley Scott became such a hack.

I dig some slow movies, as long as the down time is utilized properly.

You could really tell how much Watanabe loves the original film, the anime short was a spectacular homage. Check out his other work, especially Macross Plus, if you haven't already.

It's a stone-cold classic. Easily one of my favourite films of all time. Might take several viewings to get warmed up to though, and you will need to watch it multiple times/see the multiple cuts to get the most out of it. It's a very subtle film with a lot of information withheld from the audience that you have to infer from context, the only other film I think I've watched as repeatedly is Carpenter's The Thing.

Your right, follow even SOME of the rules and you won’t get banned, it’s pretty hard to even get an infraction in the sandbox, if you get banned because of it, that’s obviously someone who wanted it or was to fluffed up to realize how much **** he stirred.

Actually, it just takes being reported for everything you say. That's what does it. If it's not reported, most of the time they don't bother with it. Mods can't go through and read every post. Too time consuming. There's been a ton of things said to me that I could've easily reported, but I've never reported anyone, that's why nothing happened.

I'm done with it. I don't want to be reported for arguing.

I like the story a lot more, BR is fantastic but it’s story is pretty straight forward. The characters are what made BR so great to begin with, 2049 carries that and some with it. I also love detective flicks and this was pretty much that in an alternative future.
