I may enjoy it since my expectations for a good SW film have dropped like a rock after TFA and RO. The lackluster films after the trilogy are why so many hardcore fans are lashing out in anger and frustration. They're hanging on by their fingertips to their beloved childhood franchise that has done nothing but **** on them for the last two decades.

I like Rogue One well enough to count it in my head-canon. But the Prequels and Sequels are ****ing the OT at both ends, the Star Wars Spitroast.

Just saw the movie.. it was great. For me, it's way better than TFA.

Master Jedi Luke's performance here.. is badass. He got an applause from the whole audience in my theater at the peak of his performance.

Lotsa cool fight scenes, and unpredictable twists.

It's just.. wow.

So many heroes here.. worthy sacrifices.

I like parts of Rogue One, but overall it was another Star Wars film where I left the theater feeling "meh". It didn't do anything to get me excited about the franchise again. From the sound of things, I'm still going to be waiting to be blown away after TLJ. :lol

I certainly wasn't ''meh'' about Rogue One - I enjoyed being back in the OT era too much, the battle scenes were great and nothing pissed me off about it - that said it still didn't restore my level of fandom to what it was 15-20 years ago. And if that didn't I don't think anything will.

I will simply watch Rogue One with the OT if I'm ever doing a marathon again and pass on the rest.

The leaks I've read about The Last Mehdi. I'm so glad I didn't even bothER with TFA, let alone that one.

Naw brah, people in the movie thread are saying it's clearly the best SW movie. Their SW related username, avatar and sig is clearing not blinding their hype.

I'm still excited.

What I marvel at is people's incapacity for open discussion; that even the borderline zealots of free expression lose their nerve when their collective encounters opposition. There is no actual reason why differences can't be bridged, other than a vested interest in keeping the banks separate.

I personally have no such interest. I'm not sure why you do. I was under the impression that you had a greater capacity for unregulated conversation.

Maybe the CoC really has ruined this place. :dunno
