What's even more disgusting is the amount of PT love in that thread. I can understand appreciating the PT for at least aspiring to be more original than TFA and TLJ, but there is just no way you make anything more unwatchable than TPM and AOTC. No way, no how.

Yeah my view of those films is unchanged. There might have been a great story there but the execution was execrable and is still. :dunno

I'm curious what Lucas had in mind for Episodes 7-8 but I still wouldn't have had him directing or writing the script.

Right, the story wasn't that bad, but I just couldn't get past the horrible acting in it. The casting of Vadar, young and old, is what ruined it for me. Both actors were terrible! Even Natalie Portman's acting was bad in these.

quite possibly the creepiest gif in the internet.

The CGI was such a whole new level of unwatchable wretchedness that I never even paid attention to how bad the acting was. I haven't seen those movies in over 12 years and I'm still recovering. The hospital should have sent my medical bills to Lucas.

I actually like the prequels and original Star Wars but if you watch the prequels on a 4K tv the cgi does look terrible. For some reason they didn't remaster the latest blu-ray box set and the scenes with Jar Jar look like pre-finished cgi

some weenies were mad at the negativity about justice league....:lol yet the last jedi is reaching levels of rage never seen on this forum :rotfl that thread is the thread that keeps on giving

Yeah, I posted one or two things but the mad-on people have is a buzz kill. It wasn't all good or all bad. It had watchable parts and some cringe.

I decided it's going to give it the "Temple of Doom" treatment. I went for years without watching that film, came back to it much much later and was able to enjoy it. I already knew Capshaw couldn't act but I enjoyed Ford's performance and the pre-digital effects.

So... Last Jedi goes on the shelf. See you later.
