Feminists suggesting that men are being too sensitive over the Gillette ad. I found that ironic given their usual complaint about men and trying to engineer us from childhood now to, well, be more sensitive.

Not the right kind of sensitive I guess? :dunno

Feminists celebrating Gillette for their ad seem to be curiously silent about being charged 25% more for their razors. Or the fact that the company was the driving force behind the idea that women's armpits were better off shaved.

I haven't even seen the ad. But if I have a problem with it then it's because I find that marketing campaigns seeking to capitalise on social trends rather than initiate an original idea are kinda tacky.

Which I personally commend

Yeah. It's not even advertising their products beyond having the Gilette name appear at the end. I can only see it backfiring on them from the business standpoint. Rightly or wrongly, they'll lose customers over it and I don't see who they will gain in their stead so I think it's quite idiotic on their part.

Nah, angry blokes have probably already forgotten about it and Gillette has gained a whole heap of free advertising out of its trending everywhere. For every customer they lose they’ll gain two. Consumers are pretty lazy and principles take effort.

Me, I like a shaved armpit. Mrs Maisel’s are marvellous.

^^^^ Would be much smarter to spend that on dollies and mini statues.

Indeed’ Here Here!

They would last longer and you would get a high craftsmanship art piece for the money....actually several

Sent from the inside of a giant slug in outer space.....

People who are too lazy to do a simple online search and write a short email to a prop builder to get the best prop there is out there. They instead order subpar licensed stuff, because it arrives faster, but costs more, and has much lower quality and accuracy. Some people and their money... Blows my mind LOL.
