Whaaaaaaat? People are dissing the first Hot Toys release? This blows my mind. These people must've never seen it in person or good pics.

As for making a SOV version. Well, never say never...but are you ready to shell out $400 for it? I can't see it being cheaper than that.

Well, I've got the first one, and I think they could take a different approach with this new one by. . .not giving us translucent orange plastic for the flames! Which would be a huge improvement IMO Would look classier.

I also don't care for the first bike. I don't care for the tar covered look of this new bike, either, but the wacky "hell bike" doesn't do much for me and stays in the box.

If they do make it I'm all over it. The first one looked decent but I really love the look of the new one like a walking charred corpse instead of a floating white skull. The first GR just looked fake and the skull was just too clean. I hope it comes with an EX flaming stream of hellfire pee.

New movie looks waaay better than the first. So im all up for a new GR. I've been tempted by the original but Cage deserves a better HS. He really is a fantastic actor.

A BETTER ONE? Wow... Didn't know that the HS from the original figure is mediocre.
The only "bad thing" I can say about it - veeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrry slightly underscaled.

I hope they do. The set goes for way too much on the after market these days so I have unfortunately been unable to get it even though it is really high on my want list.

I like Marvel. I like Ghost Rider in general. I like Hot Toys. Figure has flaws, but I live with them. Doesn't mean improvements can't be made with 2.0, though. Cap figure has some serious flaws, too IMO, but whatchagonna do, brother? Pros outweigh the cons of owning figures like those.

I try to keep my figures as complete as I can, because if I wanna upgrade down the road, I'll probably get more selling them complete.

I know a lot of people who have said the same and judging by the proto as well as in hand pics it's obvious that HT dropped the ball in a few major areas.

All I'm saying is they could do better

I have no real problem with the skull on the existing figure, personally. I don't like that he's so scrawny, but hard to complain when he's supposed to be a skeleton wearing leather clothes.
