Very Cool!! This one of the cooler moments for my Dad and I to share when we did this back in on Trilogy Tuesday in 03.

I didn't make Trilogy Tuesday, for some reason I wound up going to see FOTR and TTT when the extended editions were released in the theatres right before ROTK came out.

I am really looking forward to seeing all 3 together in the theatres.

Yea, really. :lol

I think the first 2 are back to back, then a one hour intermission (for dinner) then ROTK starts at 7 PM.

Sounds like a good time. Albany isn't too far away, I could have made that trip. Unfortunately I'll be at the theatre here watching Ratatouille.

I almost didn't. They had to let me order tickets by phone because the ordering system online crashed and I lived too far away too drive and get tickets. The whole day was awesome as I'm sure this will be but I agree with Matt bring a seat cushion. :lol

I'll keep ya in mind if they do it again. I asked Choopie if she wanted to go, but, she was heading out of town this weekend.

Let me know, it's only a 5 1/2 hour drive for me. That's peanuts. :wacky

Definitely. It's a nice place too. I have been there a couple times, saw Jerry Seinfeld there earlier this year.

Seats about 2,000 people.

Well, I hope you brought a nice ass seat cushion for yourself, you're going to be there for a long time. Have fun, and report anything exciting. (I'm hoping for someone dressed as Gollum)

Well, we saw all 3 back to back to back yesterday. It was really cool and nice seeing all 3 films on the "big screen" again.

As long as it was, it went by quickly.

Now, I am ready to go again. I hope they show all 3 again sometime. There was about 300 - 400 people. So, it was a decent turnout, considering yesterday was one of the nicest days outside we have had in a couple weeks (alot of rain and very hot and humid).

"One day to see them all."

:rock

Glad ya had a good time Alan!! I would love for them to do this here again sometime soon.

It was very cool. Maybe you and Choop' can join me next time Alex. :)

Ales are on me. :duff
