Likewise, man. Very interested to hear what you have in mind later when you get the figures.

Yes, the risk factor is always there. Silicone deteriorates, but nowadays we have medical silicone used for figures and statues.. and the right technology to make sure it lasts. (like for instance.. don't ever put them as your outdoor garden gnome).

With the right combination of home appliances such as AC, dehumidifier, humidity/temperature indicator, and acrylic case, they can last up to 30 years, at least. And after that, it's not that they are going to melt. They just got dried and might have small cracks.

If only the Jim Henson TMNT costumes are made from medical silicones! Always sad to see them rot like that. (even though NECA did a great job taking a poke at that).

I'm just like you, mate. I worked hard to get them figures and statues. And if I don't already have the InArt two-pack, I might go in the same direction.

Yes, I shared that view too in some cases..
All the new HT figures have the separate rolling eyeballs feature, priced similarly to previous figures without this feature, which irritates me. For example, Spider-Man Tobey (no separate rolling eyeballz) and Green Goblin's green armor (with rolling eyeballs, but without glide), both at almost the same price, around $300– released relatively close together. It seems HT previously enjoyed substantial profits until competition forced them to innovate and adjust their pricing strategy.

Will give an honest impression. If it's not worth what I paid I probably wouldn't want to purchase any other 1/6 from them. As it stands, from proto pics and the new pics, for sure I am liking what I see. Now to get in-hand and experience their first 1/6 with glass eyes that move without affecting the rooted hair, articulated seamlessness etc. and the incredibly nice looking tailoring... Have to experience it. I'd fallen out of love with getting 1/6, became incredibly boring yet more expensive.

I'm well aware that the most identical likeness will always be custom. But point me to a figure that does this let alone a double pack for what I paid (around 1300) and then there can be discussion.

I feel you on those last points. Did you order direct btw?

They’re from James Park’s YouTube page. I couldn’t save them for the full hi-res pics so just did screen shots.

Cheers for that.

I was ready to be just content with the release of it coming out just alright. But that first picture is ******* incredible. Even more excited to get this in now.

Although I'd still like the inner-most part of his eyes to be more black, the red of his scars are looking more pronounced here and the overall black eye makeup is looking better.

The neatness and how crisp the shirt and tie are is sublime for 1/6.
