Seeing the pics now between the two and also those of the actors, I'd definitely have to go w/Damion's Avengers version. He'd make a damn good Spawn, too.

New Thanos looks like Planet Hulk if he ate the bubble gum from Willi Wonka's factory.

Think his lighter skin tone has to do with the brighter environment in the GoTG version compared to the Avengers one, which had barely any lighting at all on his face. I doubt they'll change his skin tone from purple to light blue.

The only reason GoTG looks more human is his eye, which I don't think they'll change. Damion has big eyes which gave it that particular look in the Avengers version while this time around they seem to just be using Brolins eyes now.

Another interesting and good change I noticed is his hands. The Avengers version looked to have used Damion's hands while the new one features the more accurate Hulk sized hands.
