This Sucks But I Have To Ask....

So with the crunch of $$$$$ comming down really hard I have to make a decision soon, and I would like all of your feedback.

Should I keep my Qui-gon Ex. order with Sideshow or should I buy him from firesidecollectibles?

If I bought him from Bob I might have a little bit of wiggle room to be able to afford him (since I wouldn't be charged until later than Sideshow).

Grrrr.... This really does suck when they all ship so closely together....

I'm getting it for the reason I might use the poncho once in a while. It wasn't a must have for me and if you "can" live without it then I would. Save some money for other exclusives coming down the pipe.

For me I would have gotten him with the poncho or not at all, but for you it seems like it's not a big issue so you might as well get it for a lower price. Besides---it's the figure that counts, not the exclusive.

Hey so will you actually save any money in waiting? If not, then I dunno if it's worth going to another store unless you're gauranteed to get it. It's all on the credit card right? I say eat instant noodles for the next few weeks and you'll be fine and keep your order.

Or buy both exclusives, and sell the first one to someone here who isn't able to get one who really wants one... ask them to give you a $10 wiggle room donation and badaboom... two people win.

I allready sold my guitar amp so I could afford Han and Mace... he he.... Now with everyone getting Qui-gon I am scared I may loose him. I may PM Bob at Fireside Collectibles and find out if he could hold onto mine till after October 5 so I can afford him.. basically what happened was this: I had money set aside for Qui-gon. I also forgot I had ordered the new OUT Star Wars DVDs which just got charged to my card today-taking my Qui-gon money right outta my hands. I am returning them as soon as I get them but that won't be for awhile (estimated to arrive on the 18th and then who knows how long it will take them to process my refund before Sideshow starts shipping the Ex. Qui-gons...


ps... anyone interested in buing a nice 8-track digi recorder?

You could see if Sideshow would. You could explain your situtation to them, they might be able to work something out, like ship him with Aragorn or the Terminators or something like that.

But, if you don't plan on ever using the Poncho, get the regular, but remember we have Maul soon, but no Obi-Wan so the Tattoonie fight is a good option right now.

That's a good point buttmuch, one time I had to delay shipments because I was moving and they said it wasn't a problem, and they mentioned that could even hold off billing for financial reasons. Might be worth a shot.

The poncho is a must have exclusive. He wears it for a great deal of the film. The only must have for a 12" so far. Ask SS if they can hold it for a while.

I would say o for the Poncho! If I was gonna get Qui Gon I'd have to get the poncho with him. Darrh Loki is right in that he does wear it a great deal and of course there's the fight with Darth Maul. You owe it to yourself to get the Exclusive version if you've already have waiting for you.

I won't be posing Qui Gon with the poncho, but I do prefer to have the exclusive versions. I would try to do what you can to keep the exclusive. Having Sideshow hold shipping it until a future figure is released is a good idea.

These figures don't cost much, but it does suck how they all end up shipping at the same time instead of being spread out.
