Hi, I'm seriously thinking up picking this guy up, he'd be my largest collectible purchase ever. I've usually stuck with cheap action figures but picking up my first Hot Toy got me to open my wallet a little. What do you guys think? Is he worth getting? A good first large buy ($200+)? Or is my money better spent on something else?

I kinda always liked his aggressive action look they bestowed upon him plus his face and helmet look nice.

Still not getting him though....I've hit my ceiling.

oh, that juggs... i dont collect movie merchandise. that's a statue of vinnie jones, not the juggernaut I grew to love.

I agree, if it was the real juggs I would poop and soil my pants as well.

Still, the VJ one looks kinda cool for what they were trying to do.....but it will never replace the juggs we all know and love with his red steel pajamas...

I have Thor. He's okay. I find myself looking and admiring Darkness and Hulk PF more.

Yup. SideShow have brought Thor to life like nothing I've ever seen before. There is no sitting on the fence for thise piece... not at this price point; not when the likes of the Doom PF and the X-Men v Sentinel 1 are going for over a grand.

It wont be wishful thinking if I say this may be the definitive Thor released.. 30" with that amount of detail and at this price point? I'm so glad I snagged two!! even though I was so desperate that I shipped the first one from across the pond and paid a lot more

I saw it in my LCS and I can't believe it is still there. If I had enough I would buy another one. It will go up in price and, honestly, if it doesn't, I don't care. It is an amazing piece. I have the Exclusive for I think the extra head looks awesome. But if you get the regular, you will like it as much. I see myself displaying that more often anyway.

In short, what I'm trying to say is.....

Get him!!!!

i've got two exclusives, and have one displayed clean shaven and the other bearded, you would think that two of them displayed together would take away from the statue, but actually alot of people have commented on how different they look just because of the beard.

while some pieces wouldn't display well like that, for example red skull, or the soon to come mystique, but others like thor, cap etc. look really cool displayed both ways imo.
now i just have to get another cap

Damn straight that fake Juggernaut can't touch the real deal. I hate that movie Juggs statue and I would love for Sideshow to do the classic Juggernaut.

If I could aquire an Exc Cap I would also display both but I don't know if I would do the same with Thor.

For me, Caps different head and shield definately are unique enough for posing 2 but the beard vs clean shaven might not be different enough for me.

Now, if I could only aquire an Exc Cap for like $50.00 shipped.....LOL

I checked my bank account today and it looks like I have some extra cash, so I think I might go ahead with him (though I need to wait a few days for pay day to get some extra "padding"). I don't really care about the ex, I was never a fan of that look myself, so that'll save me some cash... I'm just worried that now I'll need the Cap to go with him, or a Hammer replica... or both... oh this could turn out bad...
