So I just got through the waitlist for a reg Thor.... But I've NEVER had anything BUT exclusive SS pieces I REALLY REALLY want an exclusive. I'm wondeing if I should just cancel my reg and hope for a ex...... No??? (I got on the list for the ex 6/25/08 and reg on 6/27/08) Seems like the reg is kinda easy to get?

i decided to subscribe to the marvel digital comics and i've been trying to get up to date on all the world war stuff, thor (1998-04), the latest wolverine, and a bunch of other stuff. it's tough to decide where to start with some of these, especially since i haven't read much spiderman or hulk stuff for a good 8 or 9 years.

to say the least, i have a lot of catching up to do...

The Destroyer is pretty plain. For me, the statue intricacy is not what I am looking for. I want to pose Thor next to Destroyer because of the detestation they elicit for each other.

yup, you can read just about everything online, with the exception of some of the shorter series.

I have nothing against this piece but $1500 would be totally unacceptable under any circumstances. Maybe a smoking hot Valkryie PF (I like the ladies) but once you breach the $1100 barrier it's getting ridiculous. Paying such insane prices will just show the manufacturers that the market will bear this and suddenly Sideshow becomes the new Apple; premium quality and premium price where the standard PF starts at $1000.

I don't think jbinny is asking $1500.... That's a bit steep. But I don't think that SS PF's or comiquettes will EVER reach $1000 retail... That would KILL there income. Not everyone would be able to afford that... Plus, the only statues that have the right to charge that much would be Cinemaquette Their statues are just AMAZING!!! But of course, SS statues are top notch also, its just that CM statues have many more materials incorporated in their pieces.... making them more expensive to even produce

No no no. I KNOW that some PF's and comiquettes ARE fetching well above the $1k mark in the after market. What I meant was that I HIGHLY doubt SS will start charging $1000+ directly from them....
