True but it is probably the darkest Marvel movie since TWS in terms of narrative - the audience just doesn't walk out remembering that because it's a comedy.

This is in no way a dark movie. Tone and genre is what matters, not topics covered.

Yeah, see, that's the thing that bothered me most when I first saw it. The topics are dark - but the execution is the exact opposite.

But whatever, I'm mostly over it now so...

Goin' through concept artwork by various artists.
Man, some really great visuals were thrown away...
Bogles the mind how could anyone do that.

And even stupid artistic decisions aside, if only the actual movie was as badass and good looking as its art

... maybe then I wouldn't hate it so much.

Marvel Star Trek

I felt the same way on my first viewing but still more memorable than Iron Meh 2, Week of Ultron, Ant-Meh, and Civil Whore, though.

You are definitely not going to like Black Panther. :lol

I think I'll enjoy BP more to be honest, at least the soundtrack is decent.

Funny, I'd put all those flicks you listed above this one.

:dunno

But ofcourse lol. Care to elaborate?

It was too silly, the last Thor was too dark then they went all out with the colors and silly-ness of this one.

Thor is dumbed down to the point where he's about as entertaining as watching a gym-rat at a spelling bee.

Most the jokes fell flat on their face.

Ruffalo was boring to watch, the movie wouldn't had changed much if Hulk wasn't even here.

Hella was lame, the actress tried to hard. Not even hawt, she looked like a bald elk half the time.

Is this Guardians of the Galaxy or Thor?

Tried too hard to be like deadpool, especially the opening scene.

Loki was ok, but again, not much for him to do other than be there.

Story was uninteresting with absolutely nothing in it that I didn't see coming.

Grandmaster could have been cut out, nothing would had changed. He was horrible, straight cringe every time he was on screen.

How many times are they gonna shock someone or make another ass/poop joke... OPE there's another!

Need I go on?

I’m not a comic book guy so I learn everything I know about Super Hero’s via the movies. I watched this the other day and thought it was very enjoyable but curious how I might feel after multiple viewings (I like to do my MCU marathons from time to time). Will I enjoy it more? Or will it be to silly? Like I mentioned I’m not a comic guy but I think its funny that I would be “pissed” if we received this type of silly humour in a BATMAN movie!!
