But I'm tired of them downplaying Thor. He's one of Marvels most powerful characters. Hela is powerful but not like they portray her in the trailer although she looks great.

I agree, but hey downplay ALL their characters, with the exception of Cap.

They're all weak compared to their comic book counterparts, but the same can be said about the X-Men films and DC.

And sorry destroying Thor's hammer is a joke and really irks me. It is nearly indestructible and one of the most powerful weapons in the Marvel Universe.

I was not expecting that, because I figure Thanos would be the one to break the hammer and Cap's shield, but I guess they're making Hela very powerful, which I don't mind.

They can always make a new hammer.

As someone who was born in the mid 90's and never really got into reading the comics, I may be one of the few who thought that the first Thor film was near as best as it could be, and I don't expect that Ragnarok will earn a higher score on my chart than Thor.

Yeah I agree. My heart skipped a beat when Hela destroyed the hammer, and my expectations for the remaining Avengers films are greatly lowered because of it. :(

Man, this trailer is amazing. Looks like a hell of a fun movie. I like how colorful everything is. It keeps up with the theme that GotG has created for all the space stuff. Not sure how I feel about the hammer being destroyed but there's a million ways they can come up with to bring it back, so I'm not gonna stress over it. Since that fight takes place on earth I'm hoping Doctor Strange fixes it or something.

Yeah I agree about the 1st Thor. I know a lot of people didn't like but I felt it did a good job of portraying Thor and Asgard. Better than I expected and I also have it up there in the list of my favorite MCU movies.

I'm sure Odin can repair it once they find him on earth. The real problem I have is the rumour as to why it gets destroyed in the 1st place. Hopefully it's wrong.

Liked the music, Hela in her head dress looked good but no way has she ever had the power to destroy mjolnir. Could be an illusion as she is supposed to be the daughter of Loki. Underpowered Thor makes an underwhelming trailer. I'm getting in my car and coming to yer house Feige!

looks better than TDW but that isn't saying much......I think far more humor will be in this as it looks like a GoTG spin-off

After seeing the trailer, Unless someone is a diehard Thor or Hemsworth fan, I'd say wait until this releases on Blu ray

This film seems to me like a filler to answer the question " So what was Thor and Hulk doing when CW was going on for Cap and the others " :lol

seen the trailer, this movie imo has that typical marvel formula injected to it,it might work for some ,but it does nothing for me honestly
i might get it on blu ray tho, hopefully disney aknowledges that its 2017 now and that they release films in 4k too!

I don't get all the Thor is underpowered whining NOW.

After 15 films filled with underpowered characters, it's now a big deal? :dunno

I guess people be really disappointed when Thanos can't end the universe in the blink of an eye in IW.

Yeah, I not sure what else people expect from him, really. He blocked a punch from the ******* Hulk in the first Avengers movie. How much stronger do you want the guy to be? Marvel tries to bring a level of reality to these movies, so I'm fine with him being a little nerfed. I don't see people being upset about how weak Superman is, as I didn't see him bench pressing the Earth in BvS.
