Threezero Game of Thrones - 1/6 Jon Snow

Received the Eleven head and I was extremely impressed with the detail
and paint application. Imo it is the best Jon Snow sculpt available. It definitely will elevate your Threezero Jon Snow figure.

Got one, too. It looks fantastic! Huge upgrade from the 3Z head. Personally I think it's the best Snow likeness I've seen. (Barring the crazy expensive and labor-intensive custom haired heads.) 100% worth $60 bucks. He's now gone from my least favorite figure in the line to damn near my favorite. It's like having a brand new figure.

And I don't care -- not even a little bit -- that his hairdo doesn't exactly match his outfit. It's plenty close enough for me.

got the onesixthkit head today - nice head - but in case you have a custom head from Vimkerk with a decent paint and hairing job I would suggest to stay with that - Vimkerk sculpt is still better likeness

I don't much rate the Vimkerk head at all, personally. There's something slightly out of whack about it that throws the whole thing off to me, at least in the finished version. But to each their own.

I suspect Harington is a bit like Shatner and Mel Gibson in that there is a razor's edge between getting it right and not quite managing it at all. You have to capture their personality in the sculpt to make their likeness carry through properly, or it all falls flat somehow. At least in my view.

The Armor is Cult king (limited release - I think it was 60 pieces) - the belt was from a fellow collector from this board Raven Eye (when custom purchases were still allowed

Amazing collection Sildedaspo! Your 'quick' Jon with spare parts is simply amazing. I agree the Nut Pizs likeness is better, while the Cult King has better quality. As much as I like the Vimal version, I think the likeness is not better than those.

okay you were right - just needed some time and I had one problem with the nut pizs sculpt - the lower hair - just cut it off and will replace by real hair - will also retouch the beard a little bit - should be finished by monday

I have heard from the guy who did the Cult King and another custom maker that doing that armor was one of the most labor intensive undertakings that they have ever done. So it is pretty darn expensive but rightfully so. I can't imagine finding one that looks that good for cheap.i imagine that when threezero releases a Jon that the armor will probably be rubber like The Hound's.

Well guess have to wait and wonder if threezero pulls their finger out and release a post-S6 Jon Snow. Like their doing the same with S7 Tyrion.

Thanks, man! Tywin is great! I love the sculpt and he was one of my favorite characters. They really didn't lose much from prototype to production. On closer inspection you can see where xensation took some short cuts (boots are recast asmus Boromir boots and the Hands are recast Asmus John Ruth) but for $100 or however cheap this guy was it is a STELLAR and recommended purchase.

They definitely captured the demeanor of Tywin with the sculptor's expression.
