I asked threezero if they changed the shipping date to 4th quarter. They gave me the typical 3rd quarter speel they usually do. Take it as you will.

To which email did you send your question?
Mine was to [email protected] and the exact response I got was:

"Dear customer,

The estimated shipping date is in 4th quarter, thanks.

--------------
Best regards,
3Zero"

I fully support threezero and think they are doing an awesome job but I wish they will prioritize the line over others, kind of like what Star Ace is doing with Harry Potter.

I want Dany next, no, I NEED DANY NEXT. She should be next, the most popular character they haven't done yet.

I'll be honest, yes, I want a Dany and a John Snow! Though, maybe it's because I'm late on the show and just finished season Three, but Snow, so far, is the least interesting character, as Dany is just, and only just, starting to get a bit interesting.
Unless the character evolves a lot, I just can't understand why people like Snow so much. arya, for example, is much, much more interesting!

And I can't understand why some people find him boring or dull. It's just different opinions I guess, but I really don't see how someone can be a Game of Thrones fan and not absolutely love Jon and his storyline.

I didn't send an email. I asked on FB.

On Jon Snow, I've always maintained that he was overrated and that he only became most interesting from the end of A Storm of Sword and A Dance with Dragons. Which is where we are ( or were) at now in the series. Having said that, I do think Season 5 was his best season thus far and I'm looking forward to where GRRM takes the character from here on out.

Well, like I said, I'm only at the end of season 3, but so far, here's Jon's story: "step mom doesn't like me so I join the army, **** a girl and walk through the snow!"
So pretty boring if you ask me. Now, everything may change after. After all, I think Dany really started to become interesting only after the slave army stuff.

I felt the same way about Jon until season 4, then he became one of my favorite characters. When Mance attacked the Wall and Jon took command, cemented him as a badass and I liked him more and more after that.

Dany is the worst character by far. I liked her early on when she was marching around liberating slaves but after that she went downhill fast.

Any character's story is going to sound boring if you give an unfair, watered-down summary like that. :dunno His struggle with being raised by one of the most powerful, respected men in the country, but being born a bastard and having no claim to honor which leads him to join the Night's Watch is interesting. His journey of forging his own glory in a world where bastards are given none is inspiring. His dedication to the Night's Watch and his commitment to his own integrity makes for some great moments, like when he realises he had the totally wrong idea of what the Watch would be like, but chooses to stay and honor his vows when his heart says to desert it and fight alongside Robb to avenge his father...all that stuff happened in season 1, and his adventures only became more enjoyable since!

I am reading the books and am currently only on number 2, but I am pleased to find that the TV version of the character is quite like he is in the books. Maybe reading the books and seeing more of Jon's internal battles helps make him appealing, but I have always really liked the character, even before I started reading them.

I know this post is getting long, but I'll finish up by saying the Wall/Castle Black/beyond the Wall are my favorite settings in the series. I like how the rejected scum of the realm are sent to protect it, and I like how there are a few good people, like Jon, Mormont, Aemon, and others, thrown into the mix. I like how if the Watch and the Wall fail, then none of this fighting for the throne really matters, because everyone will be screwed. And Ghost. Come on now, how awesome is Ghost?

I was unfair on purpose! Of course, I get his struggle and all, and I'm sure he is better as the story goes on and in the books. I was just making fun at how slow the pace of the story can be sometimes.

Three seasons to really do just that! I mean, at the end of season 3, his character is still almost the same as it was at the start while for the others, well their lives have tremendously changed, as well as the vision we may have of them.

Take Jaime. I started by hating his guts and I end up liking him a lot. Same with the hound or even others. In the series, characters have fought, died, had their life shattered and beyond the wall, the guys are still walking around in the snow. Hell, even Sam, who has less lines, has evolved more than Snow! So, I understand that they're keeping the good stuff for when he is reborn but so far, I'm less than thrilled by his storyline.

Oh, BTW, I don't mind spoilers, I've read so many so far that nothing is much spoilery anymore!:lol

I disagree, even though Jaime is one of my favorites he is pretty much the same guy who has been emo all of his life because Ned Stark judged him with a mean stare, pretty accurate with The Hound though.

Keep watching and you'll see how Jon Snow is the character who has evolved the most, walking around the snow isn't that bad when The Wall is THE place to be at.

I'm actually a little nervous about Jamie.

Pulling off a clean well painted kingsguard armor is going to be tough.

I can't understand why people find this character interesting at all. :lol
