Me.

The show's ending was so unsatisfying I don't have any more desire to have any collection from this show. I just can't justify sinking money into this franchise just to remember how disgusted I was at the ending every time I look at a figure/figures.

It hasn't stopped me from wanting a Jon, but basically for all the characters I would prefer early season version, so I'll probably pass on this one.

I worked in visual effects on seasons 3-5 and the Dire Wolves are actual wolves shot on green screen in second unit. While attempts are made to shoot them in the right perspective/scale/etc. often they were not taken fully into account when the principle photography with the actors was done.

We would then key out the green screen and place them into the shots and scale them up an appropriately impressive amount but were constrained by the principle photography, actor and object placement, etc. I am guessing they did what they could based on Jon's performance and the placement of his hands versus his nose, etc.

I was personally just happy to see them reunited. Hopefully Dire Wolves possess some sort of regenerative properties to grow that ear back that the walkers ate.

The 3-0 one is a nice scale as it is impressive next to the figures but unfortunately the face sculpt and overall stance suck so he sits by himself in a different part of the display.

Did you meet any of the cast? Pretty awesome that you worked on the show!

I can definitely see the appeal for earlier seasons character designs. I think the next couple will be later season figures though.

This is what drives me nuts about this line. I know they're probably doing what they can and no one really anticipated how well received it would be, but man I wish we were getting figures the whole way. Joffrey should've been out years ago.

That must have been awesome! I'm sure not many can say they were apart of the best TV series ever produced! IMO!:hi5:

Let’s be honest: threezero kind of blows. The Walking Dead was at its peak when they had the license and when they were putting out two zombie figures and no main characters. Just now, when almost no one cares, have they finally decided to start putting out new releases.

There was a time about five years ago that I would have wanted any and all characters they could produce from the show and now I only have Michonne and Rick and don’t really care enough to get any others. Actually I did want to but Negan until I saw how the in hand figure looks with the strange paint job that makes him look like he has a huge mustache.

But in truth, if you are over the show now, then would you even keep the figures if they had been made? Sounds to me like some people have just saved themselves a lot of money.

Hype is real. Sometimes we just get carried away with loving something when it is current and popular. In 5 years time will you still be interested in the licence?

I know there are several shows or films that I was really interested in merchandise from, but I never got around to buying things. Now I don't even have much interest in them anymore, so I'm glad I didn't purchase the merchandise.

Yep. I agree. 3Z really did drop the ball. Had they produced 2-3 figures per season after they first obtained the license, they could've cashed in and had 20 plus characters already. Instead, they start churning things out toward the very end when to many, the last 2 seasons didn't live up to a lot of expectations.

With their high price point, I don't think we are going to see many more made after Jon 2.0. I still have a couple of characters on my want list but I'm not expecting any miracles to happen after 2019. Unless of course, when the spin-offs are released and make the brand popular again. (Maybe, time will tell).

I think companies like Xensation may be able to take advantage who may hopefully fill the void. There are still plenty of fans out there that want more characters. With Xensation's much better pricing and proven quality/sculpting (Advisor), I have hopes they can bank 4-5 additional figures as well. Provided the next 4-5 are dead on to the characters they are suppose to be/portray.

High price point?

High price point?

Well, yes. Compared to Xensation, $170+ to $105 (give or take) is high. Maybe not HT's standard now of $200+ but close.

I love Game of Thrones and I am okay with how the series ended. I liked Jon and I can not wait to own this Jon.

Same here. :clap

Happy to see everyone's favorite (non) bastard survived! :lol

While there were a few stumbles this season (which I attribute mostly to poor editing of the shot material) I still really liked it.

I though Arya taking out the Night King was pretty epic and I didn't see it coming. I loved how the Red Woman just dropped here charm and dissipated when here mission was done.

I liked most everything and the more I think about the ending the more I like it. At first I was upset about Bran but when you think about what he said that he really is not Bran anymore... The 3-eyed Raven lives for thousands of years. The Lord of Light and the 3-eyed raven conspired to put an immortal in charge of most of the known world. We know the 3-eyed raven is not entirely benign as he allowed so many people to die so he could climb to the top.

It shows you how expensive it is to score big licenses.

That being said, Tywinn looks great on the shelf so there is no reason that the official products don't look better and have better accessories.

I’m with you there. The quality of Tywin is well, sensational and the accessories are excellent. I seem to remember a Facebook post or something from Xensation when he was first launched that seemed to indicate that the low price point was a reward/apology for the fact another Xensation figure had suffered from like a 2 year delay. The impression I got was that the price point may have been a one off but I can only barely remember the post and I could be wide of the mark.

Xensation doesn't typically break $150. The Master One figure they did originally ran for like $130 and was also a fantastic figure.

While i do not like the last season i still love the show and the books. Did pre order jon

So, someone has one of those Nut Piz sculpts on ebay for $260. lol. Yikes.

Hopefully onesixthkit will get more in stock one day. I can't imagine why not. I bet they're a big seller.
