His colour scheme kinda matches Thor, which my brain led me to think of these guys :lol

He really is a unique 1/6 figure in my collection. I agree with the peeps that say the normal version will do. I have the exclusive version, & I don't even display those pieces. Although, I also don't display the book since Dave pretty much put me off it :lol I do like owning the exclusive versions of figures though, in case I want to switch things up.

Those last two photos make the figure look kind of mediocre, they're definitely not representative of what it looks like in hand. You need to check the settings on your camera as they're over saturating many of the colors and also pushing contrast way up. If this is do to manipulation after taking the photo, don't do it.

Yeah, it looks like flash might be on or something. Whatever it is, it's giving him a crazy tan lol

Or just sell the exclusive accessories, right? Nothing's different about the box/packaging, so I agree, put your money where your mouth is. ;)
There is a slight difference in that the exclusive has a gold sticker on it explaining it's exclusivity, but other then that the box is the same.

If Tywin is never released I could see some people retooling this head sculpt into him:

I'm not sure how much retooling everyone has patience for, but without taking that head sculpt to the wood shed, it would be like putting a Hasbro GI Joe next to your prized 3Z GoT figures.

anyone think that the dock delays will effect Tyrion arriving at US based retailers? guessing so. must.. be patient... :gah:

is effecting HT figs via SS.

It depends on the volume of the orders and how they were shipped. If ordering only a single pallet direct, it doesn't make sense to waste an entire container, even a half-sized one. You can get reasonable air freight for something that small, and that won't be affected by the issues at the docks. If all the figures to US retailers goes through a US distributor first however, and may be many pallets, enough to fill a container or two, then yeah, they're doomed. :) But that's a lot of figures.

True :lol But I think its the closest thing we've currently got, unless you're willing to pay a sculptor or make one yourself, because you're going need the money to pay someone to make the outfit :panic: ...

I think you'd be better off with another sculpt of Tyrion, or a Hot Toys Alfred Pennyworth, as none of the three look anything like Charles Dance.

I dont disagree.

I'm also a huge advocate of "nothing is better" as opposed to "better than nothing" when it comes to this stuff.

It's top notch or its a fail in my opinion. Which is why I'm pleased that Tyrion made the cut.

Yeah, flash is on. Without it (I took some without it), it's blurry. My camera works better in natural light, but I can be lazy. I wanted to take pics with the sculpt angled up a bit, so it didn't have the moody shadows around the eyes.

I regularly take icky pics. I thought peeps were used to it .....

thats awesome!
love that take on figure collecting. will try to adopt that myself, especially in considering how pricey 1/6 figs can be these days. no reason to settle.
