Am I the only one who would want a Bronn figure? I love that guy.

I'd pick up Bronn - he'd look great next to Tyrion. I loved their banter on the show, which was one of the aspects I really missed last season - and will continue to miss going forward.

I have an bad feeling about Bronn this season. I don't think there will be a sixth season for the character.

Just saying.

Yeah, he's already significantly diverting from the books, so anything could happen with him.

Experience has convinced me that this problem has nothing to do with female characters being "boring" or "action" potential, but deeper attitudes about women.

Someone just said aloud "and what is the obsession with brianne? i dont get it." Brienne is argubaly the best sword fighter on the series and her appeal is *somehow* lost on someone, who *just happens* to not like Daenerys too (I'm afraid to ask about Arya).

I forget who, but some wanker said in an Aliens thread how Hicks was a much better/cooler character than Ripley in his view.

It is not a one off attitude and really gets at the ability of a man to identify with a female character for her virtues other than physical attractiveness. Women do that all the time with male characters, but the reverse is still very fraught.
Good post.

Brienne is a must have from GoT imo. After all, she even defeated The Hound. As a figure, Brienne would be as posable as any of the male characters seeing as she is a sword fighter as well.

I know some male collectors just feel weird having female figures because it is like having a doll. But I don't really see it any different than having male figures, it's like owning a Ken doll lol.

As a female collector, I would like female characters to be well represented in my collection. Unfortunately, there just aren't enough being made that should be. I see ThreeZero as a company that have some great licenses where they can make some strong female characters.

I would like them to make Dany, Arya, Brienne, Melisandre and Cersei from GoT. Down the line a Sansa and Margery would also be good additions.

It's amazing that people today still hold onto these old world views. I still laugh when I hear barbie doll comments or whatever. Who the **** cares, I'll buy whatever the **** I want thank you. Males are sooo threatened by things that subvert their "masculinity."

It's interesting that the most knightly character is female.

Brienne is in my top 3.

Well, Danny is definitely on the short list, and her merch definitely sells very well. (Including several relatively expensive high-end statue pieces, not just Funko Pops.) I don't think there's any doubt that her figure will sell just as well as Tyrion or Ned or Jon Snow.

I, for one, will be more than happy to buy one. Same with Brienne and Arya. Hell, I'd even buy a Sansa.

I am most looking forward to female figures once Jaime and John are out of the way, I would have been happy if Dany was first actually. All the ones you listed would be great. I really like the design of The Red Priestess as well.

Yes doesn't make much sense does it, they don't want "the Barbie" but they'll happily take a Ken. Guys who think this way really need to get over themselves.

I can't imagine any GoT fans and 1/6 collectors saying they wouldn't be interested in Danaerys?

I wouldn't haha, sorry but her story line has been soooooooo boring, I'm sure my opinion will change and I'm open to that change but as of right now when her parts come on... yawn!

I agree, her storyline is one of the most interesting and fun: losing her family, surviving a desert, freeing slaves, building an army, conquering cities + dragons! She is one of the characters that I see getting ahead instead of just surviving to see another day. I might be biased since I'm a sucker for strong female characters, plus I find Emilia Clark and Nathalie Emmanuel irresistible :lol Hopefully this season episode 9 centers on Dany's storyline.

For me a truly disappointing and perhaps a bit boring storyline in retrospective would be Robb's. They had great characters + cast but I really never felt that they were "winning" against the Lannisters, it would have been nice to see some battles of the King In The North but the only thing we were given was the aftermath of them. This story was a victim of great ideas but just regular execution IMHO.

On Topic: Hopefully Ned ships this month...

she also stood there and watched her name die, but that doesn't matter.

and can i just say, i dont like her as a character, its nothing to do with being man, woman or dragon, i think she is a hypocrite when it comes to the storyline (not her in REAL LIFE). i dont wanna go into the books because of spoilers.

Brienne is definitely in my top three. She's a bad@$$.

isn"t Tyrion and Deanerys the most recognised characters by non-fan?
