You sorta have a point. As much as I'm a die hard for this story I wonder how many King Roberts would sell if they made one. And he's a main want of mine. I figure those aforementioned characters are most popular and main wants of people who are fans of the show. I'd say Robb would sell well though.

I'd be down for Littlefinger and Varys but again, would they sell? Funny enough, Varys might end up being the most important character in the book after all is said and done.

I think if the figures are quality, the order of releases honestly won't affect the line very much. We're talking about the highest rated HBO show of all time and one of the premier water cooler talk vessels of TV these days, and a license thats been totally untapped in this hobby. Having said that, I think the most obvious choice of releases should go like this

Tyrion
Ned
Danerys
Jon
Jamie

after that Tywin, Joffrey, and Robb, all 3 of which I'd buy, but none essential to the line

I think The Hound would sell just as much if not more than Tywin, Robb and Joffrey.

I think the price point will determine if I'm a completist or not.

Or the timing of the figures... if there are other offerings from my other collections that might divert my lmited disposal income.

:goodpost: Me too. But specifically I want Tyrion, Jamie, Lady Brienne, the Hound, Ned Stark, and probably Jon Snow.

I'm not the only one with some love for Brienne :yess: I don't care that she's a lesser character so far as the narrative goes, she'd look fantastic as a display piece.

Brienne's definitely got some nice armor.

If we get Jaime I think I'd prefer him in this outfit instead of the Lannister/Kingsguard armor.

If I'm not mistaken, that outfit is his Kingsguard outfit just without the armour.

Here's the Lannister battle armor

Good eye, Proto. I think you're right. Well that's like a two in one for the people who want Kingsguard (me) and the other outfit. :)

Yeah, looks like you're right. Even better.

If I had to choose between Kingsguard and the traditional Lannister armor, I'd go with Kingsguard. Hopefully they choose to do that version and make the armor removable.

Her storyline with Jaime is my favourite in the books next to Tyrion's.

I'd prefer to see two of Jaime-- one healthy and in his Lannister armor while the second one has him missing his hand and in his dishevelled armour.

shocked there has not been more demand for the white walker with a soft pvc covered bod like michonnes pets? i think that would be a really cool toy and sell very well.

of course im down for ned, tyrion, jon, jamie etc. etc. just think the white walker if well done will get casual collectors hooked to this line as well, so would like to see it sooner than later because i want this line to continue for a long time.

Im not too shocked.I don't have much interest in the Others tbh. I think some people would buy them, but I think people want the characters they come to love and care about than a sort of background villain. The Others have yet to really become a massive threat yet, at least in terms of battles etc, like its anticipated to be.

Plus, they looked much cooler in my imagination. :lol

Maybe they'll offer armor sets as well for anyone interested in putting together their own ranks... that might help spread some of the costs of production around.

Although I probably tend to think more like Ray on what I'd buy; at most a few figures but possibly just Tyrion as I don't envision buying a ton from the series even though it's one of my favorites.
