Well... maybe a sparkle of hope after all....

Well.. to be fair, they didn't show any GOT prototypes since last year.

I was hoping for a 2.0 for most of them but there goes any hope.

The frenzy that was GoT has certainly dimmed. If 3Z just finished up with Arya 2.0, Dani 2.0 and Jaime 2.0, I would be fine with that. But even that seems like asking a lot right now.

And that poll winner -- The Mountain -- I just can't see them following up with that now. And that was my #1 want.

Sure hope my pessimism is dead wrong though.

The only GoT figure I'm really interested in at this point is S7/S8 Dany. Whatever happened to Khal Drogo? Assuming sales have been decent, I actually think Xensation could produce characters like Littlefinger, Varys, Oberyn, Rob and maybe Sansa since I doubt ThreeZero will do those. Given how the series turned out, I have mixed feelings about this line but I'm still picking them up for the time being.

The Mountain in Kingsguard armor would be fantastic. I just don't know if ThreeZero would develop a 7' scale body. If they did produce, it should have both a zombie and normal portrait (Bjornsson) and the armor should be removable so either version of the character could be displayed.

Yep, that is exactly what I want.

Extending their Walker or Hound body could get to near the height needed. Unlikely the figure would ever be 14 inches tall. But as long as he is the tallest, that will work for me.

I want that gold helmet where you can just see a peek of those red eyes and blue skin in the shadows.

I'd be okay if he was the same height as the Hound, but he's definitely gotta have that thickess!

The characters are actually pretty close in height on the show. (If you ignore the fin on the top of the Mountain's helmet.)



Of course that's if you're talking about this version of the Mountain. I think the first two actors who played the role in earlier seasons were considerably taller. But Bjornsson is the GOAT.

I never really like the Darth Vader costume they put him in at the end. I really like the gold and white traditional armor that looked like they had to squeeze him into the largest armor they had. Made him look intimidating without the black and decorative fins to do that.

I prefer that look, too.

I'd also love it if they had a switch-out chest piece with the war hammer stuck in it from the "I choose violence" scene.

Considering ALL ThreeZero recent figures have been discounted I think its just the interest in GoT has waned. After so many years -- was it 6 years? -- of intense interest, then the disappointing (to many) finale, I think the pendulum has pulled away for now. It will come back, when a new generation discovers it, or a new show is promoted. Then perhaps these figures will see some surges. Many might still be available by that time. [emoji38]

Yeah, the hype train and intense interest is over. If the last few seasons didn't kill it for many then it really seems that last season did it. I've pretty much reconciled myself to the fact I won't get any of the other figures I really want after Joffrey. Unless they actually make that Jaime in Lannister armor like they teased in an FB comments section. The armor would go to Papa Tywin though

Once House of the Dragon premieres in 2022, or whenever, we'll have an all new show with characters to get into. If it ends up being good hopefully they jump onto making figures early in the show and not several seasons in.
