I kinda think the same. Shippuden had its moments but took a dip after the pien arc. I still have a lot of love for it tho. The fillers were brutally horrible tho. Naruto part 1 without filler is easily a solid 10 for me.

I stopped watching the anime at a certain point and decided to just read the manga. And even with the manga, I made the choice to stop reading that as well because I wanted to read them in bulk...and over time, waiting for more chapters to come out, naruto slowly faded away from my consciousness.

Over the years I’ve heard of horror stories on how much filler there was...

So you know how DBZ had DB Kai?...

Dude, DBZ’s filler didn’t seem offensively long...if an anime series could use a KAI release, it’s naruto.

Yup. I don’t know why they always did that instead of doing what they did now and just have the show pick up when it’s not so caught up with the manga. I guess they wanted it to still be relevant but that only dragged the series further imo. Those fillers would be awful.

Maybe the studio had contractual obligations to produce a certain number of episodes each year? I got into Naruto late so I was able to skip the filler. The first time I got to a filler ep, when they're taking Tsunade to the village and go to the hot springs, it was so obvious. The difference in quality between canon and filler episodes is massive, I can't imagine how annoying it must have been to watch that weekly.

Yea during that era it was anime that had tons of filler put in when the anime caught up to the manga. Nowadays they don’t do it as often but back then it was very prominent. Very annoying. Some of the worst episodes were always filler. Now you have that boruto crap that’s plagued with nothing but filler. I wish that wasn’t a thing I hate him so much lol

Unfortunately no, at the time it was available to PO, I wasn’t able to get them for a few reasons.

Kinda regret not getting them when I had the chance.

I have the FMA ThreeZero and they're really nice. Alphonse has some limitations with articulation like at the biceps and knees but that's due to the armor design.

For me I just couldn’t like the facesculpt of edward and wasn’t keen on alphonse realistic look, they are very well made though and included great accessories

I have the medicom ones which are very underrated imo

Honestly thought the medicom sculpt doesn’t even really look like edward but I think its just nice to look at

Really? I thought it was quite spot on. It captures the anime look (depending on who is doing the lead animation at the time) and quite close to the manga art.

I really like the FMA set that they did. They were the first anime based figures that I got and I don't see any issues on Edwards face? They look great.

The value on the set was also insane. These two figures together were only $270. Crazy considering what you can barely get for that much nowadays. Was really hoping that Threezero would continue the line and do Roy.

I am quite sure the eyebrows should not be so orange. The figure is quite nice for the price but I wish these characters from so well know and popular series would get Hot Toys level treatment .. something like Hot Toys Miles Morales movie figure level of quality or Game Toys Cloud, Sephiroth.

I don’t think the eyebrows are that inaccurate of a colour to be honest. I don’t not what more you expect honestly the figure is amazing quality for the prices, lots of great faces, articulation and accessories. Threezero did an amazing job imo, most hot toys these days feel uninspired and about double the price with lackluster sculpts and accessories

My nitpicks: skin should be more tanned, he's too pale. And they should have painted a black line between his upper and lower teeth on the smiling face plate. Also, there should have been a screaming faceplate for the rasengan.

He's very nice, though, I'm happy with him overall.

Medicom did a great job I keep the Edward figure from threezero I think it looks great but I'm looking for the medicom Alphons
